  • Patent number: 5661772
Abstract: An x-ray diagnostics system includes an apparatus for producing computed tomography images and an apparatus for producing x-ray fluoroscopic images, and a common support system for an examination subject allocated both to the computed tomography apparatus and to the fluoroscopy apparatus. The support system includes a base movable along a guide rail between a first position allocated to the computed tomography apparatus and a second position allocated to the fluoroscopy apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4602622
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a computer tomography apparatus for producing transverse layer images has a patient-targeting device with a biopsy needle for being introduced into the patient along a path determined by the targeting device. A phantom apparatus with adjustable simulation parts for specific body locations provides for the alignment of the targeting device either via a simulation targeting device which is aligned using the simulation parts, or by releasably coupling the patient-targeting device (5) itself with the phantom apparatus for purposes of alignment.

  • Patent number: 4129784
Abstract: A gamma camera has a plurality of exchangeable collimators, one of which is replaceably mounted in the ray inlet opening of the camera, while the others are placed on separate supports. The invention is particularly characterized in that the supports are swingably mounted upon a column one above the other. In the illustrated embodiment, the camera is swingable through about 90.degree. to a collimator exchange position, and each of the separate supports is swingable to a vertically aligned position, with resilient limiting of the swinging movement and resilient positioning of the support at the desired exchange position. Further, the collimators are carried on the supports by means of a series of vertically disposed coil springs, projections on the camera being relatively movable from above into grooves of the collimator at the exchange position, whereupon the collimator is so turned that it is securely prevented from falling out of the camera head.

  • Patent number: 4059352
Abstract: A slide projector comprising a slide magazine with a motor drive, a motor-driven pusher for conveying respective slides one by one from the slide magazine into the path of the light of an optical system, and a guide unit for guiding the slides. A mechanical stop is provided for establishing the projection position of the slides and a spring is interposed between the pusher and its motor drive for transmitting force therebetween. For displacing the pusher there is provided a roller guided in a curved slot in a disk connected to the motor.

  • Patent number: 3934147
Abstract: A device for supporting a patient, having a carrying member and a horizontally extending lying support for the patient, with a motor for varying the distance between the support and a medicinal unit. The invention is particularly characterized by the provision of a spring scale between the patient support and its carrying member, having a switching member which can be shifted corresponding to the weight of the patient. Switching means are connected with the switching member for interrupting the current circuit of the motor, the distance between the switching means and the switching member being adjustable.
