  • Patent number: 7073723
Abstract: A thin electronic chip card with an IC chip and a galvanic element as an energy store, which has at least one lithium-intercalating electrode and has a thin, flexible housing comprising two metal foils, which bear directly against the electrodes and are connected to each other in a sealed manner with an adhesive or sealing layer, the element is arranged in a recess in the chip card and the chip card and the element are covered on both sides by an overlay plastic film, which is firmly bonded to the chip card and the element with an elastic stress-compensating adhesive, which adheres simultaneously on metals and plastics.

  • Patent number: 4683055
Abstract: A diesel fuel filter, which is arranged in a conduit between a fuel tank and a fuel injection pump, comprises a housing accommodating a filter element and a cover non-releasably connected to the housing. A temperature-responsive switching device for switching fuel overflow quantities from the pump to the tank as well as a ventilation device are positioned in a chamber formed by a protruding formation of the cover and a flat plate connected to the housing. A plate shaped pressure control valve, which opens into a contaminated side of the filter element, connects that side to the chamber.

  • Patent number: 4338815
Abstract: An inductive displacement transducer is proposed which serves to convert a mechanical movement into an electrical signal and in particular, in order to measure the fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine, the transducer ascertains the movement of an air flow rate meter disposed in the intake tube of the engine. The displacement transducer includes a core comprising two E-shaped sets of arms disposed symmetrically relative to one another, of which one set of arms serves as the measuring arm set, the middle arm of which is surrounded on one end by a measuring magnetic coil and on the other end by a measuring short-circuit ring connected with the air flow rate meter, and the other set of arms acts as a reference arm set, the middle arm of which is surrounded on one end by a reference magnetic coil and on the other end by a fixed reference short-circuit ring. The measuring short-circuit ring is connected with a leaf spring, which is secured on the air flow rate meter.

  • Patent number: 4174511
Abstract: A bimetal device with an electrical heating element which serves for temperature-dependent control is provided. The bimetal device has a thin insulating layer, on which is arranged at least one electrical resistance layer which serves as a heating element. The resistance layer can be placed on the base of the bimetal device by means of vapor depositing or by thick film technology. In this manner a plurality of resistance layers can be provided that are insulated from each other and of which one serves for continual heating. It can also be useful to provide only one resistance layer which is connected in series with a PTC resistor and holds the bimetal device at a certain temperature. The embodiment of the electrical heating element as a resistance layer makes possible a very rapid heating of the bimetal.
