  • Publication number: 20080073815
Abstract: A vulcanizable composition based on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers is prepared with vinyl acetate content of at least 45% by weight, based on the copolymer, and these can be crosslinked in the absence of peroxides. These mixtures comprise at least one organotin catalyst and a specific crosslinking agent. A process is moreover described for preparation of these vulcanizable compositions, and their use is described for production of products with elastomeric properties.

  • Publication number: 20060237916
Abstract: In a U-cup based seal of a rod, the basic body of the U-cup 3 is recessed relative to a square cross-sectional shape in the region of a radially inner outer edge 18 on the low pressure side in order to obtain a space 17 between the U-cup 3 and the opening, i.e. the passage opening 16 of a sealing gap 15, leading into a rectangular groove 4 guiding the U-cup 3. This space 17 remains at least partially also upon pressurization such that the U-cup 3 completely remains in the groove 4 upon pressurization and is not extruded into the sealing gap 15. This considerably reduces wear of the U-cup 3.

  • Publication number: 20060010434
Abstract: A configuration server includes a configuration repository that stores a wide range of configuration information for possible use by application programs. The configuration repository may include configuration parameters, settings for the parameters, and meta-data of definitions and descriptions of the parameters. Configuration information is selected from the configuration repository and stored in a configuration directory for later use by application programs at runtime. The configuration information is accessed from the configuration directory when needed by an application program or a component thereof.

  • Publication number: 20050138558
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for configuring software. The software may be configured with wizard-like configuration levels, including configuration levels that may overlay previous ones. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method is provided for configuring software. The method may include prompting a user to select a scenario for configuring the software, receiving, as input, a selected scenario from the user and further prompting the user to enter configuration data based on the selected business scenario. The method may also include applying at least one template to generate at least one configuration statement for the software, wherein the at least one template comprises a set of rules for generating the configuration statement based on the configuration data entered by the user.
