  • Publication number: 20240124250
Abstract: A suction gripping device for picking up a plurality of substrates which are flat and flexible includes: a base body, which defines a plane; at least one gas suction vacuum module which is arranged on the base body and has at least one gas suction opening configured for withdrawing gas by suction and for generating a first vacuum so as to suction a respective one of the plurality of substrates against the suction gripping device; and at least one gas ejection vacuum module which is arranged on the base body and has a gas ejection opening configured for ejecting gas and for generating a second vacuum so as to suction the respective one of the plurality of substrates against the suction gripping device.

  • Patent number: 8701666
Abstract: An adapter for connecting, in particular, respiratory implements such as tubes, tube extensions, filters, breather bags, or artificial noses to a tube having a particularly conically tapered connector. the adapter has a clamping section that may be fixed to the connector in a frictionally engaged manner. The clamping section of the adapter may be radially expanded from a first clamping position in which the inner diameter of the clamping section is less than the outer diameter of the connector into a second release position in which the inner diameter of the clamping section is greater than the outer diameter of the connector.

  • Patent number: 8226335
Abstract: A pipe-end processing tool and a pipe-end processing system for it. A guide roller is used which runs along the inside peripheral surface of a pipe to be processed and as a result keeps an implement designed to machine an outer edge bezel of said pipe at a constant radial distance from the inside peripheral surface. As a result residual wall thicknesses constant over the full pipe periphery are generated even when the pipe is not rigorously circular, for instance illustratively oval.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6087935
Abstract: A smoke screen device for rooms includes a container to hold a smoke fluid that produces smoke when vaporized, a heating device for heating and vaporizing the smoke fluid, and an opening in the container that allows the smoke to be given off into the open. The heating device is a pyrotechnic heating cartridge having a heating agent, a pyrotechnic detonating agent, and a casing that encloses the heating agent and detonating agent. Heat produced during combustion of the heating agent is given off onto the smoke fluid through a wall of the casing. A pressure cartridge including a compression agent and a pyrotechnic detonating device is provided in the container to support propulsion of the smoke produced. The pyrotechnic detonating device may be electrically ignitable via an electrical cable coupled to an energy supply and sensory mechanism which themselves are connected to an alarm, so that when tripped, the alarm causes the detonating device to be ignited.
