  • Patent number: 5509495
Abstract: A drive assembly for a motor vehicle comprising a forward engine supported in two bearings on the vehicle body, a rearward drive unit supported by way of at least one elastic bearing, and a central support tube arranged in-between. This central support tube is connected on the forward end with the engine in a movable manner and on the rearward end with the drive unit in a rigid manner. A drive shaft or a central corrugated shaft which has a torque-transmitting joint in the area of the connection extends in the central support tube. The engine is connected with the drive unit by way of an uncoupling device which can be adapted as a function of main excitation directions of the engine and which comprises a connecting joint which holds the engine so that it can be angular moved in the main excitation directions. The connecting joint and/or a bearing device is used for the torque support.

  • Patent number: 4919230
Abstract: A scaffold platform section is fashioned as a corner platform section (117) and exhibits an optionally multipartite floor plate (27) at which at least one supporting leg (29) is bent at an angle, carrying drop-in claws (13) or the like. A supporting leg has a lower lift-preventing leg (30) extending to below the U supporting span member (14) in the drop-in position. This platform section bridges a great variety of different angular regions between other scaffold platforms and can have a swivel member (37) for compensating purposes. The corner platform section (117) proper can be equipped with a border leg (35). The swivel member (37) can have a border leg (38). Two component elements can be joined in a swivelable and inflexible fashion.

  • Patent number: 4603756
Abstract: In a scaffolding system in which vertical metal scaffold pipes are connected to non-vertical metal scaffold pipes by disc-shaped bridged connecting flanges, each non-vertical scaffold pipe has a wedge-shaped end portion terminated with edges which are curved at the end face of the pipe inwardly of the pipe and form together a smooth supporting surface supported against the outer wall of the adjacent vertical scaffold pipe. Each non-vertical scaffold pipe is provided with a slot in which the disc-shaped connecting flange is engaged in the assembled scaffolding.

  • Patent number: 4273207
Abstract: An engine-transmission assembly wherein the engine in it is connected to a rear transmission unit by a supporting pipe which serves to reduce vibration and noise. According to preferred embodiments of the invention, the supporting pipe includes at least one outer pipe and an inner pipe fitted therein which are interconnected at only ends and are held in position via a friction seat. The pipes forming the supporting pipe can be of equal length and thickness or can be of varying length and/or thicknesses according to other embodiments.
