  • Patent number: 9557259
Abstract: A particle detector apparatus for optically ascertaining a number of particles arranged on a surface of, for example, a particle filter. The particle detector apparatus includes a light source, an optical focusing device, a spatially resolving light detector and an evaluation device. The light source emits source light onto the surface. The optical focusing device focuses image light that is emitted from the surface in response to the source light onto the spatially resolving light detector. The spatially resolving light detector includes light sensors that measure brightness values based on the image light, such that the light detector produces image data based on the brightness values delivered by the light sensors. The evaluation device then ascertains the number of particles based on the image data.

  • Publication number: 20150095256
Abstract: A method and a device for transporting objects of different types to different destinations, in particular postal items to delivery addresses. Each object to be transported belongs to one of at least two different object types. For each object, the destination (Zp.1, Zp.2) of the object is determined. Each object is transported to its destination (Zp. 1, Zp. 2) and removed there. The transport device has a respective accommodation area for each object type. A data processing device (Mob) is carried during the transport. That device (Mob) displays, in a human-ascertainable form on a screen device (Bsg), the destinations (Zp.1, Zp. 2) to which objects are to be transported, and the object types for the particular destination (Zp. 1, Zp.2).

  • Patent number: 8267659
Abstract: A turbine blade is provided. The turbine blade includes a support structure and a shell which surrounds the support structure and which is connected to and at a distance from the support structure by at least one spacing element. For example the spacing element can be a solder globule in order to form a space through which a cooling medium can flow between the support structure and the shell. A method for the production of a turbine blade having a support structure and a shell which surrounds the support structure and which is connected to and at a distance from the support structure is also provided. The shell is soldered to the support structure in at least at one place of the support structure in order to connect the shell to and at a distance from the support structure.

  • Patent number: 8157531
Abstract: A closing assembly for closing the gap remaining between the first and last blade of a blade ring that is inserted into a peripheral groove of turbomachinery is provided. The assembly includes at least two parts each of which can be hooked onto projections that form an undercut in the peripheral groove and includes a securing element, which secures the parts from becoming detached from the peripheral groove. For closing the remaining gap, the securing element is mounted to rotate about its longitudinal axis between the two parts and has a key head and a web. The web can be positioned by rotation is such a way that to fit the parts in the peripheral groove. The parts can be displaced in relation to one another and to secure the parts from being detached from the groove. The web can be placed against at least one lateral face of one of the parts.

  • Patent number: 8157530
Abstract: A closing assembly is provided. The closing assembly closes the gap remaining between the first blade and the last blade of a blade ring that is inserted in a peripheral groove of a turbo machinery, the assembly consisting of at least two lateral parts, at least one of which may be hooked onto a projection that forms an undercut in the peripheral groove and at least one securing element, which secures the parts from coming detached from the peripheral groove. To provide a particularly reliable closing assembly, the securing element is configured as a pin, joining the parts of the closing assembly in a non-positive fit.

  • Publication number: 20110188999
Abstract: An axial turbine for a gas turbine including a rotor blade cascade is provided. The rotor blade cascade is formed from rotor blades each including, a front edge, a blade tip, and an annular space wall that surrounds the rotor blade cascade and includes an annular space inner side, enabling the annular space wall to be arranged directly adjacent to the blade tip forming a radial gap between the covering of the blade tip and the annual space inner side. When the turbine is in operation, the area of the blade tip with the highest pressure load is disposed in the region of the front edges, and the rotor blades in the region of their front edges include a radial projection and the annular space wall includes on the annular space inner side, a peripheral radial recess that interacts with the radial projections such that a minimum is established in the direction of the main through-flow of the turbine.

  • Publication number: 20110146596
Abstract: A fire-resistant wall intended in particular for use in an incinerator has a tube wall, composed of tubes connected by webs, and, placed in front and at a distance from the tube wall, a fire-resistant protective cladding composed of a plurality of fire-resistant tiles which are arranged next to and above one another and which are fastened to the webs of the tube wall via in each case at least one tile holder. The tiles are provided with continuous open grooves into which the tile holders engage. In the tube wall are provided inlet openings via which air can be introduced into the gap between the tube wall and the protective cladding. Also provided are outlet openings through which air can be removed from the wall. The air supply openings are arranged in the region of the open grooves of the tiles, with the result that the supplied air flows directly into the grooves and is distributed through these grooves over the entire wall.
