  • Patent number: 11467063
Abstract: A probe carrier arrangement, especially for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, includes a probe socket (14) provided at a probe carrier body (12). The probe socket (14) has at least one insert-receiving opening (24) extending in a direction of an insert-receiving opening longitudinal axis (E). A probe carrier insert (28) is arranged in the insert-receiving opening (24). The probe carrier insert (28) has at least one probe-receiving opening (36) extending in a direction of a probe-receiving opening longitudinal axis (S).

  • Patent number: 7247280
Abstract: A multibed catalyzer (1) is for an exhaust system of a combustion engine, of a motor vehicle. In a housing (2), at least two catalytic monoliths (3, 4) are arranged axially adjacent to be flowed-through in succession. The two monoliths (3, 4) are encased on the circumferential side by a common heat-resistance bearing mat (5) and supported by means of this bearing mat (5) in the housing (2). In order to enable a predetermined axial minimal distance between the two monoliths (3, 4), at least two heat-resistant distancing elements (9) are distributed circumferentially and axially between the two monoliths (3, 4), so that the monoliths are axially supported on one another by means of the distancing elements (9).

  • Patent number: 6938729
Abstract: An exhaust gas system for an internal combustion engine, in particular, of a motor vehicle has two mufflers through which the exhaust gas is able to flow in a parallel fashion. A switching unit makes it possible to selectively convey the exhaust gas flow of the internal combustion engine only or almost exclusively through the first muffler, or only or almost exclusively through the second muffler, or through both mufflers in a parallel fashion. The two mufflers are realized differently with respect to their muffling effect and/or flow resistance.
