  • Patent number: 10160651
Abstract: Dispersion and method for the production of same. In one embodiment, the dispersion consists of a dispersing liquid and at least one solid substance that is distributed in the dispersing liquid. In order to obtain a dispersion with particularly good properties, it is provided that the dispersing liquid has an aqueous and/or non-aqueous base, that the at least one solid substance is formed of graphite and/or of carbon nanomaterial and/or of coke and/or of porous carbon, and that the at least one solid substance is distributed homogeneously and stably in the dispersing liquid. A method for the production of such a dispersion is provided such that the dispersion is produced by applying a strong accelerating voltage. In addition, various advantageous uses of such a dispersion are indicated.

  • Publication number: 20090081454
Abstract: The invention relates to carbon nanoparticles from fibers or tubes or combinations thereof, which have the morphology of macroscopic, spherical and/or spheroid secondary agglomerates, separated from each other. The invention also relates to a method for producing carbon nanoparticles by a CVD method using nanoporous catalyst particles having a spherical and/or spheroid secondary structure and comprising nanoparticulate metals and/or metal oxides or the precursors thereof as the catalytically active components. The inventive carbon nanoparticles are suitable for use in adsorbents, additives or active materials in energy accumulating systems, in supercapacitors, as filtering media, as catalysts or supports for catalysts, as sensors or as substrate for sensors, as additives for polymers, ceramics, metals and metal alloys, glasses, textiles and composite materials.

  • Publication number: 20070275304
Abstract: Among other things, a method for the production of a modified material, for example, a carbon material, is described, having the following steps: Generation of a high-frequency field in a chamber (2) of a plasmatron (1); introduction of a plasma gas into chamber (2); generation of a plasma with the plasma gas by the high-frequency field; and introduction of initial material into the plasma. In addition a plasmatron (1) is described for the production of a modified material (M), having: a chamber (2), at least one high-frequency inductor (3) disposed in at least one region of chamber (2), a gas supply line (10, 11) for introducing a plasma gas into the region of a high-frequency field generated by high-frequency inductor (3), and a material supply line (4) for blowing in initial material with a transport gas into the plasma generated by high-frequency inductor (3) with the plasma gas. Finally, it also describes a modified carbon material which is correspondingly produced.
