  • Patent number: 8732707
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for automatically and dynamically composing and executing workflow-based service processes may include receiving a request, the request including a user-selected service type, guided by one or more rules for questionnaire creation, dynamically generating a sequence of one or more electronic inquiries in accordance with the user-selected service type, receiving information based on the sequence of the one or more electronic inquiries, based on the information received, creating a goal for the request by constructing logical state representations of a current state constituting a pre-condition of the goal and of a target state constituting a post-condition of the goal and generating a service process by determining a sequence of services which together fulfill the goal, where the services are selected from a plurality of services such that pre-conditions and post-conditions associated with the selected services together match the pre-condition and the post-condition of the goal.

  • Patent number: 7865820
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for identifying a substitute relating to a business document model includes receiving, in a computer system that has a modeling tool, a first user input indicating one of multiple components of a business document model in the modeling tool. The multiple components include nodes and edges that represent semantics of a business document. The method includes identifying, in response to the first user input, at least one substitute component for the indicated component. The at least one substitute component is identified in a repository of preexisting business document models and using a graph structure of the business document model. The method includes presenting the identified at least one substitute component in the modeling tool such that a user can replace the indicated component with the substitute component. Quality values can be determined and assigned.

  • Publication number: 20070179821
Abstract: A transformation method is described having three phases. The first phase provides a tool and language independent annotation framework to capture semantics of entities as well as their relationships with other entities. The second phase converts the entities on the business level into corresponding entities on a technical level. The conversion preserves the semantics of the entities defined at the business level and transforms them into a representation implementable at the technical level. The third phase reassembles the transformed entities into a cross-organizational business process in a desired technical modeling language and tool.

  • Publication number: 20060293938
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable media are provided for integrating carrier services. In one implementation, carrier services are integrated into an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system utilizing an integration platform. The integration platform may include a first, second, and third components. The first, second, and third components may interact to utilize within the integration platform services offered by ERP vendors and carriers by discovering, setting up, testing, running and updating these services. As result, typical business scenarios, such as a order-to-cash process, may be enhanced.
