  • Publication number: 20240104563
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a service for decentralized browser based wallets. Various embodiments of the present disclosure can receive a first passcode and a second passcode from a security provider device. Various embodiments can use a cryptowallet to decrypt a first encrypted private key using the first passcode to generate a decrypted private key. Various embodiments can use a cryptowallet to sign a transaction request with the decrypted private key. Various embodiments can use a cryptowallet to generate a second encrypted private key by encrypting the decrypted private key using the second passcode.

  • Patent number: 11921699
Abstract: Lease-based consistency may be implemented for databases to handle failovers. A database node may obtain a consistency lease that describes a point in time determined from a time-to-live amount added to a consistent point in time for database data. While the consistency lease is valid, Multi-version Concurrency Control (MVCC) snapshots assigned by the database node can be used to handle requests to access the database data. Once expired, the database node may have to renew the consistency lease in order to continue to handle write and read requests.

  • Patent number: 11895120
Abstract: Enterprise applications need to store and evaluate permissions on per User, per Entity and per Action basis for hundreds of Users and thousands of permissions. Most of the times this data takes up to 5 database tables to store the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions. Selecting permissions for user from database consumes time while any User attempts to perform any Action. Sometimes the time taken to check permission is more than time taken to perform the required Action. Thus the current approaches for RBAC are inefficient in all—computation TIME, runtime MEMORY and database STORAGE. Binary arithmetic is known for being vast in scalability, smallest in memory and fastest in speed. This paper describes a new method which uses binary data structure and binary arithmetic to accurately check User permissions. We also claim that this method is the most scalable and fastest possible for Role Based Access Control.

  • Publication number: 20230189818
Abstract: Disclosed are agents, compositions and methods of treating or controlling Botrytis infection particularly in plants. Certain agents include polynucleotide molecules that induce RNAi when administered to B. cinerea fungal cells. In particular embodiments, compositions include a fungicidally effective amount of a polynucleotide comprising at least 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 575, or 600 contiguous nucleotides that are essentially complementary to or comprises at least about 85%, at least about 90%, at least about 95%, at least about 98%, about 100%, or 100% sequence identity with a segment of a DNA or target gene of B. cinerea, or an RNA transcribed from the DNA or target gene.

  • Publication number: 20220290170
Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions and methods that involve recombinant polynucleotide molecules, such as single or double-stranded DNA or RNA molecules, also referred to “triggers”, that are useful for controlling or preventing E. necator infection, or recombinant DNA constructs for making such RNA molecules or for making transgenic grape plants resistant to E. necator infection. In some embodiments, polynucleotide triggers are provided as topically applied agents for controlling or preventing infection of a plant by E. necator. In some embodiments, grape plants with improved resistance to infection by E. necator, such as transgenic grape plants (including seeds or propagatable parts) expressing a polynucleotide trigger are provided. In some embodiments, grape plants (including seeds or propagatable parts) that have been topically treated with a composition comprising a polynucleotide trigger (e.g., grape plants that have been sprayed with a solution of dsRNA molecules) are provided.

  • Patent number: 10764279
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a method and an information appliance device having a unique access card for preventing security breach in the information appliance device. A multimedia content server transmits a one-time access key to both the information appliance device and a user of the information appliance device. The user must input the access key to the information appliance device. The information appliance device verifies the access key and provides access to the user for the multimedia services, by activating a periodic activation key upon successful verification of the access key. Therefore, even if unauthorized user tries to skip the access key verification process through modification of access cards used in information appliance device, the unauthorized user cannot access the multimedia service due to lack of the periodic activation key required for activating multimedia service. Hence, security breach such as, cloning or duplication of the access cards will be minimized.
