  • Patent number: 9813851
Abstract: A checkpoint system includes a plurality of checkpoint tags, each checkpoint tag located at a different checkpoint location. Each checkpoint tag has a storage device storing a checkpoint tag identification code. The system includes at least one mobile processor device that reads the checkpoint tags when the mobile processor device is brought within a predefined vicinity of the checkpoint location, and obtains location information corresponding to the location of the mobile processor device when the mobile processor device reads a checkpoint tag. The mobile processor device is configured to transmit data corresponding to the checkpoint tag identification code, location information and other information over the communication network to a backend or other processor device, in accordance with rule-base processes.

  • Publication number: 20160358297
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are related to incident tracking systems and methods. A method allows for receiving input that specifies an incident at a facility, defining a search area adjacent to a position of the incident, and displaying one or more other incidents that occurred at the facility within the search area. A further method allows for dynamically plotting, each time a search area is changed on a map of a facility and an associated date range is indicated, positions on the map within the search area so as to indicate where incidents have occurred at the facility within the date range. Another method allows for receiving input that specifies a name of a person associated with an incident at a facility, and automatically flagging the person as being of interest if the person has been involved in one or more other incidents at the facility.

  • Publication number: 20160266733
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for responding to an event, the method comprising receiving, by a server over a network, a notice indicating the occurrence of the event at a facility, classifying, by the server, the event based at least in part on the notice, generating, by the server, at least one message corresponding to each of at least one device, wherein each of the at least one message is generated based, at least in part, on at least one role associated with the each of the at least one device, and transmitting, by the server over the network, the at least one message to the each of the at least one device.
