Abstract: An indoor-outdoor detection method includes constructing a first indoor-outdoor detector; and constructing a second indoor-outdoor detector. A normalized brightness of a subject image is determined and a comparison result is generated based on the determined normalized brightness and a threshold brightness value. One of the first detector or the second detector is selectively applied to the subject image based on the comparison result, and a detection result is generated. Image signal processing is performed on the subject image based on the detection result.
