The base unit includes an electric unit and an interconnecting arrangement for interconnecting the base unit with a base unit of at least one other light tile. The base unit is configured for interfacing with the light-source bed so as to establish mechanical connection therebetween, and the electric unit is configured to be electrically connected with the light-source bed so as to establish electric communication therebetween and to provide electric power to the at least one light source.

Abstract: The present invention describes a mechanism and method for retracting an instrument. In a rearward position, a sliding weight aligns an elongated assembly with a rear canal allowing the assembly to slide backward into the canal thereby retracting. When the weight slides forward, it collides with a protrusion on the elongated assembly forcing the elongated assembly forward and pulling the rear of the elongated assembly out of the rear canal. Once the elongated assembly is pulled out of the rear canal, it is unlikely to spontaneously return to the canal and contacts an internal shoulder which locks the elongated assembly in a forward position. Alternatively, means are provided to lock the elongated assembly out of the rear canal when in forward position. Preferably the weight is moved between the forward and rearward position by shaking.

Abstract: A closure unit for selectively closing a package of wipes or the like is formed as an integral unit typically in or close to the closed position, and has a flap hinged with respect to a frame defining an opening for enabling dispensing of the wipes or the like therethrough. Break lines between the flap and the frame enable the flap to be torn from the frame at first use, and suitable positive locking means enable the flap to be reclosed with respect to the frame. The structure of the unit is such that no portion of the flap substantially overlaps any portion of the frame when the unit is initially formed, and thus then unit may be formed in or close to the closed position, particularly from sheet material.

Abstract: A dispensing cover for a container accommodating an article to be dispensed, such as a wet towel. The surface of the cover has an opening therein providing access to the article, and a hinged lid of deformable, elastic material swingable from an erect, open position to expose the opening to a position overlying and closing the opening, the lid having at its front end a locking element. Cooperating with the lid is a locking member coupled to the surface of the cover, the member having a locking edge which when the lid is closed, then engages the locking element to maintain the lid in a closed state. To open the lid, the locking member is depressed to deform the lid to an extent effecting disengagement of the locking element from the locking edge to permit the lid to spring up as a result of the elastic energy it gained when being deformed.
