  • Patent number: 11693398
Abstract: Vehicle systems include features for performing remote park assist (RePA) operations. One system include a feature where a user provides a continuous input via a touchscreen on a mobile device. The mobile device transmits a message and a vehicle autonomously traverses a calculated parking path while the message is being received by the vehicle. Another system include a feature where the vehicle autonomously move to a parking space based on data received from the mobile device. The mobile device receives user inputs on a display showing representations of the vehicle and its surrounding areas to generate the data. Another system include a feature where the mobile device determines whether the user is a first time user of a RePA application. The mobile device operates in a certain training mode based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 10988145
Abstract: A method for a vehicle control procedure, wherein in the case of this vehicle control procedure a closed loop control of the vehicle velocity is performed on the basis of a predetermined desired value, may comprise the following steps: determining on the basis of at least one predetermined criterion whether in the case of the closed loop control the vehicle velocity leaves a value range that is defined by at least one velocity threshold value while taking into consideration a tolerance range that defines predetermined, permitted deviations from this value range; and implementing a corresponding measure while modifying the vehicle control procedure in dependence upon the result of this determination procedure, wherein the determination procedure is performed on the basis of a signal analysis of at least one measurement signal that describes the movement status of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10625806
Abstract: A scooter has a load-carrying deck, a steering rod for steering a front wheel, two outriggers arranged on opposite sides to be pivotable between retracted stowed positions and extended support positions. Each outrigger has a wheel mounted movably on the outrigger to move between a stowed position and a ground-contacting support position. The outriggers when in their support position form a wider loading surface than the deck alone. A control arm is attached to the steering rod for movement between a folded/stowed position lying adjacent to the rod and an operating position extending forward from the steering rod. A sensor detects movement of at least a section of the control arm and, in response thereto, provides control inputs to an electric motor driving a rear wheel.
