Abstract: A collection of bras includes a first set of bra cups including a first pair of bra cup sizes, an inner face of each bra cup in the first set having a first padded area having a first shape. The first padded area has a height that is between first and second percentages of a cup height of each bra cup in the first set. A second set of bra cups includes a second pair of bra cup sizes that are larger than the first pair of bra cup sizes relative to a given band size. An inner face of each bra cup in the second set has a second padded area having a second shape that is different from the first shape. The second padded area has a height that is between third and fourth percentages of a cup height of each bra cup in the second set.

Abstract: A bra cup for a bra includes an inner layer of material configured to face a wearer's breast when the bra is worn and an outer layer of material configured to face away from the wearer when the bra is worn. An outer face of the inner layer of material is adjacent an inner face of the outer layer of material. A thin polymer web is disposed on the outer face of the inner layer of material. A bra including the bra cup and a method of manufacturing the bra cup are also disclosed.

Abstract: A lower body garment has a pair of legs having an upper edge located below a wearer's pregnant belly and a waistband connected to the upper edge. The waistband has a front waistband portion that substantially covers the wearer's pregnant belly and a rear waistband portion that covers the wearer's sacroiliac joints, and which, together with the front waistband portion, encircles the wearer's torso. The rear waistband portion has a rear three-layer section having an inner layer of fabric contacting the wearer's skin, an outer layer of fabric facing outwardly from the wearer, and a middle layer of material between the inner and outer layers of fabric. The front waistband portion has a front three-layer section and a front section having no middle layer of material. Stretch, recovery, and/or modulus of the three-layer sections may be greater than the same properties of the section having no middle layer of material.

Abstract: An absorbent garment has a pair of breast cups, each having a layer of moisture-wicking one-way transport material, an inner layer of absorbent terry cloth, an inner layer of foam, and an outer layer of water-resistant material. An inner face of the absorbent terry cloth is fully laminated to an outer face of the one-way transport material. An outer face of the absorbent terry cloth is fully laminated to an inner face of the foam. An outer edge of the one-way transport material is coupled to an outer edge of the foam. An outer face of the foam is fully laminated to an inner face of the water-resistant material. The absorbent terry cloth has an outer edge that does not extend to the outer edges of the one-way transport material or the foam such that the absorbent terry cloth is fully enclosed between the one-way transport material and the foam.

Abstract: A brassiere has a chest band, a portion of which includes a pair of concavities, each of which is to be located below one of a wearer's breasts. A pair of curved support members is attached to the chest band along the pair of concavities, respectively. A breast cup is situated within each concavity. Each breast cup has an inner liner, an outer liner, and a foam pad sandwiched between the inner and outer liners. The inner and/or outer liner of each breast cup is attached to the chest band along the respective concavity. The foam pad of each breast cup is not attached to the chest band, other than by way of the inner and/or outer liner. The chest band has an inner layer touching a wearer's skin, an outer layer facing outwardly from the wearer, and an intermediate layer sandwiched between the inner and outer layers.
