  • Patent number: 6615421
Abstract: The lavatory unit shown as a whole by reference number 1 comprises a box-shaped lavatory body 10 formed of panel material, which is positioned to an appropriate position on a floor panel 70 of an aircraft. A toilet unit 20 is fixed on a floor panel 110 inside the lavatory body 10, and a wash basin unit 30 is equipped to one side of said toilet unit 20. The lavatory body 10 stows a storage module 50 capable of being pulled out of and stowed again to the body 10. Said storage module 50 includes for example a closet for storing the coats and jackets of passengers etc. A state is shown where the closet 50 is pulled out of the lavatory body 10, expanding the lavatory unit. The space inside the lavatory is expanded, allowing the use of a bench 150 etc., thus improving the service provided to passengers. A part of the closet 50 being pulled out protrudes to the space in front of the aircraft door 80, but since this space is not used during flight, the space inside the aircraft is utilized efficiently.

  • Patent number: 6561599
Abstract: A service wagon has a box-shaped body 10 having an opened upper end, and the body 10 is supported by casters. Two pullout wagon members 20 and 30 are stowed in the body 10, which are pulled out toward the side directions during use. The upper surface plates 22 and 32 of the pullout wagon members 20 and 30 serve as a cover for covering the opening of the body and as a table. Tables 60 and 70 mounted via hinges to the front and back sides of the body 10 can be expanded horizontally, and by expanding the auxiliary tables 62, 64, 72 and 74 that are folded and stowed under the tables 60 and 70, a large table surface can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6405660
Abstract: A wagon 1 comprises a first wagon 10 including a lower face plate 12 and an upper face plate 11 constituting storage space, and a second wagon 20 to be stored within the storage space of the first wagon 10. The longitudinal side edges of the upper face plate 11 of said first wagon 10 is equipped with auxiliary table plates 15 rotatably connected thereto, and the first and second wagons 10, 20 are formed to rotate with the rotary axis set to a center column 30 mounted to the center of the upper and lower face plates 11, 25, 12, 21. The second wagon 20 can be moved from a first position where the wagon is completely stored within the first wagon 10 to a second position taking an angle of 90 degrees from the first wagon, and the auxiliary tables 15 can each be pivoted from a position hanging from the upper face plate 11 to a position leveled with the upper face plate 11.
