    Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for removing organic compounds from gas streams containing same in which the gas stream is directed through a number of graded bed adsorbers. The graded bed adsorbents are regenerated in situ by using a heated regeneration which is produced from a cooled flue gas formed by combustion of a fuel gas and the thermal oxidation of desorbed organic compounds collected during the regeneration process.
