Abstract: A shielding element and a decoupling element are integrated into a combined attenuation element. The shielding element may be a shielding foil, preferably made of copper. The attenuation element may include a flexible backing foil, preferably a plastic backing foil which supports the shielding foil. It may also include an adhesive layer with which the electronic component is affixed to a housing. The physical properties of all elements of the attenuation element are attuned to one another such that it simultaneously attenuates both electromagnetic alternating fields as well as mechanical oscillations.

Abstract: A test tube is closed with a plug having a cannula piercing the center of the plug. A first collar surrounds the plug and a second collar above the first collar extends away from the plug and receives a tightly fitted serum container. The serum container is separated from a top opening to the cannula by a first air space. A second air space exists between a bottom of the plug and a top layer of a blood sample. A channel along an inner edge of the second collar allows serum to move upwards into the serum container during a centrifuge process by virtue of increased air pressure within the test tube caused by the serum container pressing on the first air space.

Abstract: A blood extraction cannula cap is provided with a skirt which can be inserted over a tube for receiving the blood, the upper portion of the skirt being closed and having a cannula bore for receiving a needle and a push button resiliently mounted on the end of the cap with the push button being connected to a closing member which closes a bore connecting the cannula to the interior of the cap.

Abstract: A device for use in blood centrifugation processes, said device comprising a centrifuge tube containing a substantially rigid separator element and said tube having walls of predetermined thickness and material of construction to enable flexing of only that portion of the tube wall coincident with said separator element, sufficient to enable passage of liquid by said separator element, in response to centrifugal force.
