  • Patent number: 7742145
Abstract: In a method and medical examination device for post-editing of at least one film clip created within an examination with the imaging medical examination device, at least one associated data item of at least one film clip is created. The data item designates the film shot and contains at least one suitable information item for the purpose of determining a specific sub-segment of the film clip.

  • Patent number: 7680309
Abstract: A method is provided for simultaneously implementing an image preprocessing and storing of presentation states during a running image transfer by sending acquired image data, which may be in a low resolution format, to an image processing station where processing descriptions associated with the acquired image are assigned to the image data and stored along with the acquired image data in an image storage database for future access.

  • Patent number: 7409096
Abstract: In a process and unit for gradual decoding, archiving and graphic display of progressively decoded image data, time intervals between the time points of consecutive decoding steps, during which network users receive ever more refined image resolution when downloading image data from a central network server to the client computer using transferred and decoded partial data quantities ?Li as preview images, are generated with abbreviated time spans that are optimized with respect to minimization of system usage by the decoding system. For this purpose, the receiving data rates for transfer of the individual partial data quantities, which are taken into account through improvements generated by the individual decoding steps of a quality metric showing the degree of image resolution and the temporary usage of the decoding system upon determination of the decoding time points.

  • Publication number: 20060212544
Abstract: In a method for transfer of image data using a data transfer device wherein the image data of an image file can be separated into data packets, and transferred with variable image quality, image data of the image file are transferred in lower image quality, image data of at least one selected data packet and transferred in higher image quality, and further transfer of image data of the image file ensues in low image quality.

  • Patent number: 6577770
Abstract: The invention can be used in a wide range of fields including space applications, for observing, measuring and surveying the earth surface with satellites, civilian and military aeronautics, for x-ray images and security applications, as well as in general industrial image processing and image generation applications. The invention uses the advantages of the wavelet transformation, a mathematical mapping between spaces, and in particular the advantages of interpolating wavelets, to improve the transmission of endless, continually growing, non-bordered images using a small amount of memory. The invented procedure and the proposed implementation of the procedure describe a complete wavelet transformation system which is used as a decorrelating transformation for digital or digitized input data. The invention also covers an inverse wavelet transformation system for reverting the wavelet transformation system operations.
