  • Publication number: 20220357709
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for legally compliant documentation of health-relevant and safety-relevant process events in a food processing plant. The system comprises a workstation, an acquisition device, an auditor device, a report generator and a signing device. The acquisition device is assigned to the workstation and is configured to automatically acquire plant-related process variables. The auditor device, on the other hand, is configured to analyze the acquired process variables and identify a trigger event. Further, the auditor device is capable of generating a first data set including at least one of the acquired process variables and/or an information value about the trigger event. The report generator is adapted to determine a signing device responsible for the first data set. In addition, the report generator may generate a requirement data set comprising a signature requirement and at least part of the first data set.

  • Publication number: 20220357712
Abstract: A system and a method for the legally compliant, intelligent control of processes in a plant for the generation and/or provision of energy is provided. The system includes at least an acquisition device, an auditor device, an action device and a signing device. The system or the method enables the deduction of error sources. In addition to normal status reports, particularly advantageously relevant process occurrences, i.e., for example, deviations from defined specifications, options for action can be created automatically by an expert system and their selection can be reported to defined persons/bodies and/or initiated via a digital signature method and system with a tamper-proof time stamp. In addition, a confirmation is provided with a legally compliant digital signature, which enables retroactive control of the process plant or plant components, in particular via the action device.

  • Publication number: 20210182802
Abstract: A system and a method for controlled processing, monitoring and billing of the disposal of a disposal object (e.g. waste) may include a workstation, a control device, a security module, an acquisition device, an auditor device and a decentralized server. Using the acquisition device, disposal object information of a disposal object, operating information, and/or status information is acquired. Based on this information and a provided input information, the auditor device generates an auditing information. The control device controls the work station and, depending on the auditing information, initiates and/or controls a work process for processing the disposal object. The acquisition device may allow the acquisition of product information about the product obtained by the work process, so that an individual accounting can be created based on the available information about the disposal object and its processing.

  • Patent number: 8969743
Abstract: A dynamic scale has multiple weighing units, each equipped with a weighing cell and a weighing pan, the weighing pan lying in an upper plane and the weighing cell between a lower plane spaced from the upper plane in the direction of gravity. A transport device has a motor encoder and sensors, with the encoder and sensors being electrically connected with the inputs of a control unit. The multiple weighing units are serially adjacent in a transport path, with simultaneous cascaded arrangement of the weighing cells in the direction of gravity. The control unit simultaneously starts the weighing processes in all weighing cells in a dynamic weighing mode and controls a transport motor depending on signals of the sensors and the encoder and controls the dynamic scale depending on signals from the weighing cells.

  • Patent number: 8959590
Abstract: In a method for enabling the use of a consumable unit in a consumption device of a consumption arrangement, a first item of authorization information assigned to the consumable unit is transmitted from the consumption arrangement to a remote data center. The data center implements a first verification of the first item of authorization information and, as a function of this verification, a second item of authorization information assigned to the consumable unit is generated. The second item of authorization information is transmitted to the consumption arrangement, which implements a second verification of the second item of authorization information, dependent on which use of the consumable unit in the consumption device is enabled. The outcome of either the first or second verification is also used for an accounting for use of the consumable unit when, the first verification indicates that the consumable unit was previously unused.

  • Patent number: 8698012
Abstract: A fast, dynamic scale has a weighing unit formed by a weighing cell and a transport mechanism with a first motor to drive the transport mechanism. The transport mechanism) is arranged with the motor on the weighing cell, so the weighing cell is loaded with a preliminary load. A first sensor is located at the beginning of the weighing unit. This first sensor emits a first signal to a control unit to start the weighing process for a cargo piece B. A second sensor emits a second signal to the control unit that thereupon generates a communication that a cargo piece Bn following the cargo piece B can be supplied. A weighing unit with a shortened effective length for the weighing is provided. The shortened length allows the interval between successive cargo pieces to be correspondingly shortened. A switchable extraction device is arranged after the weighing unit in the transport direction.

  • Patent number: 7804620
Abstract: In a method and arrangement for generation of an imprint with a printing device operating according to a dot matrix principle (in particular an inkjet principle), a dot pattern is provided for the imprint, with which the printing device image points corresponding to the provided dot pattern on a substrate. For at least one first image point a probability with which the image point is generated is provided. Whether this image point is actually generated on the substrate is determined in a decision step using a random generator and the probability. The image point is generated (or not) in a subsequent step dependent on the result of the decision step.

  • Patent number: 7708376
Abstract: A device cleans an inkjet printhead in a franking and/or addressing machine. The inkjet printhead is disposed in a stationary manner such that it can be pivoted in a printing window of a guide plate for the print carrier. A cleaning and sealing device is disposed behind the guide plate such that it can be displaced toward and away from the inkjet printhead. This improves the print quality, prolongs service life, and provides a high throughput rate. Spraying clear is possible both during the print carrier transport and in a rest position without the letter run being soiled. The cleaning and sealing device is disposed underneath the inkjet printhead to be displaced by an associated displacement device. A matched baffle piece is disposed underneath the inkjet printhead such that it can pivot and is coupled to the latter.
