  • Patent number: 10254117
Abstract: The invention relates to a navigation device comprising a turntable which can be rotated about an axis in at least two different rotary positions, in accordance with a rotary control signal. An inertial measuring unit is arranged on the rotary table which can be rotated with the rotary table. The quality of the measurement data can be determined by the initial measuring unit with the help of an evaluation device. When the determined quality does not reach a predetermined minimum quality, the rotary table rotates in the respective other rotary position.

  • Patent number: 9464706
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a shaft with two front sides and an axis of rotation, whereby the shaft comprises at least one gear with the same axis of rotation, which gear borders at least a first one of the front sides in an axial area. Viewed from radially inside toward radially outside, the gear comprises a connection part with a central receptacle for the shaft, and an outer part with teeth. The connection part is cast directly between the shaft and the outer part. The connection part extends over the shaft in axial direction and covers the first front side.

  • Publication number: 20080142317
Abstract: The invention relates to a spindle (1), in particular an electromechanical parking brake of a vehicle, which is embodied as a component of a spindle drive. The aim of the invention is to secure, in a detachable and simple manner, a standard cable pull comprising fittings to a spindle. Said aim is achieved in that a coupling part (7) comprising a receiving section (8) which is used to receive a fitting (9) of the cable pull (6) and a securing section (10) is provided on one free end section (11) of the spindle (1). The securing section (10) of the coupling part (7) are crimped to the free end section (11) of the spindle (1). The invention also relates to a connecting method.

  • Patent number: 6713896
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for switching several electric circuits in a vehicle, wherein several positions of an actuating element are binarily coded, the binary codification is fed to a logic and the logic controls the switching of the electric circuits, and also a corresponding switch with an actuating element and a switching device for attaining several switching modes, depending upon the position of the actuating element, wherein the switching device is constructed of several switching elements with two switching modes each, so that there results a binary codification of the switching modes of all switching elements, depending upon the position of the actuating element in order to switch the electric circuits by means of a logic.

  • Patent number: 6209399
Abstract: A pressure sensor suitable for use in automotive applications is provided to sense the pressure of a pressurized fluid medium and generate an electrical signal representative of the sensed pressure on a set of electrical contact members. A main housing body has a fluid supply opening adapted to conduct a pressurized fluid medium into the housing body. A pressure measuring cell is provided including a plastic measuring cell housing and an electric pressure sensor arranged on the plastic measuring cell housing. The pressure measuring cell is disposed on the housing body of the pressure sensor apparatus adjacent the fluid supply opening so that at least part of the electric pressure sensor is acted upon by the pressurized fluid medium. A reinforcement plate member is adapted to engage a back side of the pressure measuring cell to hold the pressure measuring cell in place relative to the main housing body against the pressure of the pressurized fluid medium.

  • Patent number: 5982047
Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure switching device of the type used in motor vehicles and includes a pressure sensor 21 arranged in a housing 3, which generates an electrical signal U according to the pressure p of a pressure medium or monitored fluid transmitted through a supply opening 15 of housing 3. The pressure switching devices includes an interpretation and switching unit 55 adapted to received the electrical sensor signal U and is further adapted to compare the sensor signal with at least one switching threshold value to trigger a switching function or a sequence of switching functions upon the electrical sensor signal exceeding and/or falling short of the switching threshold value.
