  • Patent number: 11950147
Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes determining, while a user equipment (UE) is connected to a long term evolution (LTE) cell, that the UE supports connection with a first fifth generation (5G) frequency range (FR1) base station (gNB) and a second 5G frequency range (FR2) base station (SgNB), when the UE is camped to an FR1 cell, determining whether at least one connection condition is satisfied, and controlling to release the UE from the FR1 cell and initiating the UE to an FR2 cell when the at least one connection condition is determined to be satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20240040603
Abstract: A method, system and non-transitory computer-readable medium are provided. The method includes determining that a user equipment (UE) is camped on a new radio (NR) cell and to a long term evolution (LTE) cell, determining a reference signal received power (RSRP) of the LTE cell, determining an RSRP of the NR cell, and assigning an uplink data flow configuration for the UE based on the RSRP of the LTE cell and the RSRP of the NR cell.

  • Patent number: 11765021
Abstract: Proactively detecting one or more handover error in a communication link between base stations [14y, 14z] in a wireless communication network. A method may include determining at least one possible solution to the one or more handover error using an artificial intelligence engine 76. A method may include implementing the at least one possible solution to correct the one or more handover error. The artificial intelligence engine 76 may include an artificial intelligence algorithm, a machine learning algorithm, a deep learning algorithm, a neural network algorithm; and/or big data analysis algorithm. The artificial intelligence engine 76 may utilize at least one database [92, 94, 96] including a plurality of solutions. The plurality of solutions may include solutions to errors in communication networks that occurred in the past. The artificial intelligence engine 76 may successively implement each of the possible solutions until the one ore more handover error is corrected.

  • Patent number: 11716249
Abstract: A method for dynamically adapting a maximum bitrate (MBR) configuration of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)/Rich Communication Services (RCS) application, includes receiving a signal from a client server for an IMS/RCS application, establishing a bearer channel for an Internet multimedia communication, the channel having an initial preconfigured MBR, determining a codec used to transmit the communication, determining the bitrate used by a codec, and modifying the MBR of the channel based on the bitrate of the codec.

  • Publication number: 20230097617
Abstract: A method includes determining whether user equipment (UE) in a telecommunication network is configured to support evolved universal terrestrial radio access network dual connectivity (ENDC). Responsive to the UE being determined as configured to support the ENDC determining whether a source cell and a target cell are configured to support the ENDC. Performing on processing circuitry a first mobility modification in response to determining the source cell is an ENDC source cell and the target cell is a non-ENDC target cell. Performing on the processing circuitry a second mobility modification in response to determining the target cell is an ENDC target cell and the source cell is a non-ENDC source cell. The second mobility modification is different from the first mobility modification. Performing a handover from the source cell to the target cell in response to both the source cell and the target cell being configured for ENDC or non-ENDC.
