  • Patent number: 7701160
Abstract: The invention relates to an operating method for a roller shutter comprising an actuator which is used to move the shutter and which consists of: a motor, an electronic control unit for powering the motor, and a control box which is connected to the electronic unit and which is equipped with at least one control key. The inventive operating method comprises at least one configuration mode, during which values that are associated with specific positions can be recorded. The invention is designed such that a roller shutter movement command only occurs after a key has been pressed during a period of time greater than a first period t1 if the device is not at least partially configured, but the pressing of a control key can be immediately interpreted as a command to move the mobile element if the device is at least partially configured.

  • Patent number: 7639115
Abstract: A method for pairing a bidirectional object acting as a command receiver with a bidirectional object acting as a command transmitter, includes the stages of: (a) temporary allocation of at least one bidirectional object acting as a command receiver to a bidirectional object acting as a command transmitter; (b) selection of a bidirectional object acting as a command receiver from among the temporarily assigned objects; and (c) pairing of the selected object.

  • Patent number: 7418313
Abstract: The method describes the operation of a roller blind including a moving element that can be operated via an actuator and a handheld-type remote control used to set the value of an operating parameter of the system, the value of this parameter being modifiable between two limit values. In this method, after a modification of the setting of the parameter value, an acknowledgement signal is sent, the acknowledgement signals differing according to whether the parameter value is or is not a limit value.

  • Patent number: 7107126
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a shading and ventilation position of a a roller blind. The method including steps of identifying the final slat position in which the bottom slat is at the limit of contact with the bottom end stop of the blind, assigning to this final slat position a data defining the position, and calculating a shading and ventilation position data defining the shading and ventilation position from the data of the final slat position. The method also includes steps of storing the shading and ventilation position data in a shading and ventilation position memory. The method enabling storing of the best shading and ventilation position without necessitating the storage in memory at the site of manufacture.

  • Publication number: 20050242763
Abstract: The method of operating an actuator comprising a motor and an electronic unit controlling the electrical power supply to the motor to provoke the movement of the actuator in a first direction or in a second direction, the actuator being linked to a control module acting on the electronic unit and provided with at least one button controlling the movement of the actuator, is characterized in that a first particular press on the control button causes the electronic unit to switch over to a disabled state in which at least one further press on the button is analyzed but does not give rise to an actuator movement command. The invention also relates to a device for implementing this method.

  • Publication number: 20050119792
Abstract: The method of determining a shading and ventilation position in a control system of an actuator which is used to move a roller blind with stackable slats, is characterized in that it comprises the following steps: identifying, by analysing the torque exerted on the actuator, the final slat position in which the bottom slat is at the limit of contact with the bottom end stop of the blind, assigning to this final slat position a data defining said position, calculating a shading and ventilation position data defining the shading and ventilation position from the data of the final slat position, and storing the shading and ventilation position data in a shading and ventilation position memory. This method makes it possible to store the best shading and ventilation position without storing it in memory at the site of manufacture.

  • Patent number: 6867565
Abstract: The process contains the following steps: entering a teaching mode, defining and recording zero, one or two limit of travel positions, exiting the teaching mode, determining the number and the type of the limits of travel produced by end stops, if there exists at least one limit of travel produced by virtue of an end stop, detecting and recording the position of the end stops.
