  • Patent number: 10661785
Abstract: A vehicle chassis control system may include a target calculation module, brake control module, suspension control module, and tire pressure control module. The target calculation module calculates a target brake torque, a target vertical force, and a target tire pressure associated with the wheel of a vehicle. The brake control module adjusts brake torque applied to the wheel based on a comparison of the target brake torque and an estimated current brake torque. The suspension control module adjusts vertical force applied to the wheel based on a comparison of the target vertical force and an estimated current vertical force. The tire pressure control module adjusts tire pressure in the wheel based on a comparison of the target tire pressure and a measured tire pressure.

  • Patent number: 10493990
Abstract: A system for performing ride control blending in an electric vehicle may include a control distribution module, a torque control module, and a vertical force control module. The control distribution module may calculate a torque control demand and a vertical force control demand associated with a wheel of the vehicle based on a generalized vertical force, a pitch moment, and a roll moment associated with a body of the vehicle. The torque control module may adjust torque applied by an electric motor to the wheel based on the torque control demand. The vertical force control module may adjust vertical force applied by a suspension actuator to the wheel based on the vertical force control demand.

  • Publication number: 20130289861
Abstract: A personal rapid transit (PRT) system comprising a very economic triple rail topology for bi-directional urban personal transport. All the ramps are implemented on the one side of the tracks matching the narrow urban spaces. To achieve fast speed, stable direction changes, and a non-compromised passenger security, the ramps are implemented as parallel lines to the corresponding tracks, and the vehicles do not use any wheel steering. Instead, a landing wheel gear is implemented. The vehicle's center of mass is constantly kept in one plane with the guideways. In case of emergencies, a special “anti-fall down” security system holds the vehicle on the rails. The vehicles make turns using the highly compact Direction Change Connector. The PRT control system is implemented as three layer hierarchical system of fault-tolerant processor nodes, and utilizes two channel wireless communications between the layers.

  • Patent number: 7515752
Abstract: A drawing assistance system enhances a sketch drawn by a user in an electrical document on a computer system by collecting stroke data from one or more strokes of a sketch as a user draws the sketch. The stroke data includes time-based information and features of each stroke. The strokes are handled based on the time-based information, and analysed based on the strokes handled based on the time-based information. The sketch is enhanced based on results of the analysis.

  • Patent number: 4371290
Abstract: A characteristic feature of the proposed shuttering is the fact that its adjacent sections are interconnected through means preventing them from being mutually inclined in a vertical plane; said means is interposed between said sections and is made as a bar and four links mounted in pairs on pivots at the bar ends, while ends of the links are connected, through ball-and-socket joints, to the respective sections; said bar being composed of at least two members swivelling with respect to each other about a common longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 4222681
Abstract: The proposed shield comprises in its frame a drive for advancing the shield along a path, a device for absorbing the thrust force from the drive and transmitting it to concrete in the process of its being pressed, a forming unit for forming the inner surface of a concrete lining, which, according to the invention, includes a former mounted coaxially in the shield frame and adapted to move by a drive along the shield longitudinal axis, and a supporting structure installed rearwardly of the former and adapted to move along the longitudinal axis of the concrete lining. The present invention will be most advantageously used in sand or unstable soil, where it makes possible to drive a tunnel practically without setting the earth surface and to preserve overground buildings situated close to the tunnel construction area. The present invention prevents the concrete lining from cracking in the process of its being formed.
