Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid bleaching composition comprising a peroxygen bleach, a zwitterionic betaine surfactant, a sulphonated hydrotrope, and a nonionic surfactant. This composition is suitable to deliver excellent stain removal performance and bleaching performance on various surfaces including fabrics and hard-surfaces, with improved physical stability, especially at low temperatures.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a low viscosity, aqueous liquid composition suitable for bleaching and pretreating soiled fabrics. Such composition contains a peroxygen bleach, an ethoxylated nonionic surfactant, a zwitterionic betaine surfactant and a viscosity reducing agent. In addition to improved cleaning performance, such composition provides satisfactory fabric and color safety when used as a laundry pretreater.
