Abstract: The invention provides an interactive digital infrastructure application with a first hierarchical data structure, a populous data structure, and a network-based, interactive software tool with access to the data structures. The hierarchical data structure includes a plurality of hierarchical levels, including a higher institutional level with at least one institutional file pertaining to an institution, an intermediate geographic level with geographic files pertaining to geographic locations associated with the institution, and a lower resource level having resource files pertaining to resources associated with the geographic locations. The interactive software tool includes an interactive graphical user interface dashboard displaying information from files within databases and allows users to navigate the files.

Abstract: A computerized file system is accessible over the Internet or other type of network, in which certain “triggering events” pertaining to the operation of the file system automatically generate a notification message to users. Once a user has been authenticated, this user's access rights are determined. An Automatic Notification function checks to see if any “triggering” events have occurred when a user performs a particular task. The Automatic Notification function defines what type of event will become a triggering event, and also defines what will be the triggering action, once the triggering event occurs, and stores this information in a database. The Auto-notification function can comprise programs that are launched to perform certain tasks. The precise type of auto-notification message is fully configurable for each component in the file system.

Abstract: A computerized file system is provided that is accessible by users that are stand-alone or over a network (including the Internet), in which the appearance of the standard hierarchical tree structure has been modified to provide the appearance of defining film (leaves) as containers for other files or directories/folders; intelligence is added to the tile system by allowing a user to define rules to be applied to the files and directories present in the file system; and an interface is provided to allow users to extend the attributes of files and directories in the file system to enable them to access this functionality.
