  • Patent number: 11398730
Abstract: A method for optimizing the energy supply from a variable electrical energy source in an electrical facility, operating in a self-consumption mode, connected to an electrical energy distribution network. A control device is configured to control an electrical energy inverter in an electrical facility and to an electrical facility including a control device for controlling an electrical energy inverter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 9, 2019
Date of Patent: July 26, 2022
    Assignee: SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES SAS
    Inventors: Vanya Ignatova, Alexandre Laporte
  • Patent number: 11240068
Abstract: A method for detecting and identifying items of equipment communicating according to a Modbus communication protocol, connected by means of a first communication network of Ethernet type and by means of at least one second communication network, the first and the second communication network being linked by a communication gateway. A communication controller implementing such a method also is disclosed.

    Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SAS
Inventors: Vanya Ignatova, Alexandre Laporte, Florent Aubert
  • Patent number: 11209474
Abstract: A method for locating and clearing phase faults in a micro-grid in off-mode. The method includes determining a surveillance area of a microgrid having at least two busbars to monitor; determining all source feeders and load feeders of the surveillance area; acquiring measurement data comprising current magnitude for all source feeders and load feeders; and monitoring the at least two busbars in the surveillance area for a voltage dip in one of phase-to-phase or phase-to-neutral voltages. The method further includes, on detecting a voltage dip on the monitored busbars, determining a defect phase having a minimum phase-to-neutral voltage; and performing current analysis for the defect phase.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 21, 2019
Date of Patent: December 28, 2021
    Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SAS
    Inventors: Philippe Alibert, Vanya Ignatova
  • Patent number: 11205892
Abstract: A method for locating phase faults in a microgrid in off-grid mode. The method includes obtaining a grid topology of the microgrid having at least two busbars and determining the position of all circuit breaker position of the grid topology. Further, acquiring measurement data which includes current magnitude and voltage magnitude. Monitoring the at least two busbars for a voltage dip in one of phase-to-phase or phase-to-neutral voltages. On detecting a voltage dip, determining a defect phase having a minimum phase-to-neutral voltage value. And for the defect phase performing busbar analysis and feeder analysis, using phase-directional information.

  • Patent number: 10726341
Abstract: A method comprises detecting a power quality event, determining if one or more power outages occurs in a defined time period extending from a beginning of the power quality event to an end of the power quality event, and if one or more power outages occurs in the defined time period, then performing an analysis, where performing the analysis comprises determining if the one or more power outages is associated with the power quality event. The method may also comprise outputting the information regarding the analysis to a display device.
