  • Patent number: 11920666
Abstract: A power transmission device includes a clutch, an actuator and a stop member. The clutch is received within a first housing and has a first clutch member coupled to the second housing and a second clutch member coupled to the first housing, the second clutch member is movable and selectively engageable with the first clutch member. The actuator has a coil and a plunger driven for movement by a magnetic field generated by the coil so that the plunger moves axially to move the second clutch member relative to the first clutch member. The stop member has a retracted position spaced from the plunger and an advanced position within a path of movement of the plunger to limit movement of the plunger when the stop member is in the advanced position.

  • Publication number: 20230417291
Abstract: A boot comprising a central axis and an inner surface and an outer surface. The boot having a first fastening region the inner surface of which is adapted to seal against a first component and a second fastening region the inner surface of which is adapted to seal against a second component. The boot having an interior volume between the first fastening region and the second fastening region. The boot having an intermediate region connected at a first end to the first fastening region and connected at a second end to the second fastening region. The intermediate region having a convolution located between the first end and second end, wherein the outer surface of the convolution is convex.

  • Publication number: 20230256817
Abstract: In at least some implementations, a bracket for a rotating shaft includes a base and a retainer. The base has a mount body and a receiver having a first portion coupled to the mount body, a second portion extending from the first portion at a first end of the second portion to a second end of the second portion, a seat and an opening. The opening is defined at least in part by an inner surface disposed around a center axis. The retainer has a first surface engaged with the seat and a second surface engaged with a retention surface of the mount body and the retainer prevents separation of the seat from the retention surface by a distance greater than the distance between the first surface and the second surface.

  • Publication number: 20230256816
Abstract: A bracket for a rotating shaft includes a base and a retainer assembly. The base has a mount body and a receiver, first and second tabs extending from receiver and overlapping spaced apart portions of the mount body. The retainer assembly has a first retainer and a second retainer that overlap the tabs and trap the tabs against the mount body to hold the receiver on the mount body, and the first retainer overlaps part of the second retainer and the second retainer overlaps part of the first retainer to maintain the positions of the retainers relative to the mount body and receiver.
