  • Patent number: 11505390
Abstract: An impact-absorbing package includes an impact absorber and an outer package. An item can be attached to the impact absorber and the impact absorber can be positioned in the outer package. The impact absorber can be positioned to have a volume of air between the item and the bottom of the outer package. An impact force applied to the impact-absorbing package can cause movement between the item and the outer package that is reduced by the impact absorber.

  • Patent number: 11338981
Abstract: A padded mailer includes elongated air cells that provide stiffness, especially in the transverse direction. The increased stiffness helps prevent the mailer from flipping over during conveying, which would put a label on the underside of the mailer.

  • Patent number: 11301604
Abstract: A reinforced shipping container along with method for generating the reinforced shipping container are described herein. A digital model of the shipping container is received and simulated with an expected load. The expected load may represent an expected loading scenario for the shipping container during shipment. A reinforcement profile is determined based on stress data developed from the simulation to increase a strength-to-weight ratio of the shipping container. The reinforcement profile is used to apply a reinforcing agent to a substrate used to form the shipping container in a selective manner to reinforce regions of the shipping container that will experience stresses during shipping.

  • Patent number: 11299335
Abstract: A padded mailer includes ribs that provide stiffness, especially in the transverse direction. The increased stiffness helps prevent the mailer from flipping over during conveying, which would put a label on the underside of the mailer.

  • Patent number: 11194983
Abstract: A tag positioned on an object provides information for selecting augmented reality (AR) content that is based, at least in part, on a user profile or other user information. The tag may be utilized to transmit messages between users where AR content can be integrated into the message and presented upon scanning and processing of the tag. The AR content may also be related to user interests or real time user information, such as user location. The user may interact with the AR content to retrieve additional information, which provides an improved customer experience and improved integration into a provider ecosystem.
