Abstract: A microscope module for use with a modular user device is described. The microscope module contains a processor, a camera sensor communicated to the first processor, one or more data points configured to transmit data from the camera sensor to the modular user device, a microscope lens, a plurality of mirrors operative to reflect an image from the microscope lens toward the camera sensor in a folded path, a stage which is configured to load a specimen to be visualized, and an adjusting mechanism which adjusts the position of the stage to adjust an optical path distance.

Abstract: A compression connector for connecting electrical components that is easily assembled without the need to align multiple components (e.g., circuit board, electrical component, housing parts, etc.) and does not stress or otherwise apply a force to an external housing of an electronic device. The compression connector also can mechanically secure the electrical components together thereby making assembly of an electrical device efficient.

Abstract: A display system provides a portable telephone with a plurality of distinctive appearances. An overlying cover is removably attachable to a telephone housing which includes operating buttons and an indicia panel. The cover has a primary opening for viewing the indicia panel and secondary openings for free reception therethrough of the operating buttons. A transparent window member includes a first peripheral edge encompassing the outer face and a first recessed peripheral ledge projecting outwardly to a terminal peripheral edge. A collar removably attachable to the cover has an aperture similar in size and shape to the primary opening of the cover and an inner surface with an inner peripheral recess adjacent the aperture for capturing reception of the peripheral ledge of the transparent window member between the collar and the cover so that the transparent window member overlies the indicia panel on the housing.
