  • Patent number: 9251584
Abstract: A dual magnetic resonance imaging method simultaneously acquires a first and a second time series of MR images wherein the temporal resolution of the first time series of images is larger than that of the second time series while the spatial resolution of the first time series of images is smaller than that of the second time series. Accordingly, in the context of DCE-MRI, the first time series can be used to determine the arterial input function (AIF) while the second time series can be used to determine the concentration time course in the tissue of interest, e.g. in a vessel wall. Therefore, both the AIF and the tissue time course can be acquired with their optimal dynamic signal range.

  • Publication number: 20150058796
Abstract: One aspect of the invention is a system for providing navigation control for a tabletop computer system. The system includes a multi-touch display and processing circuitry coupled to the multi-touch display. The processing circuitry is configured to display a user interface on the multi-touch display and render a navigation pane on the multi-touch display. The navigation pane includes a reduced-scale copy of the user interface. The processing circuitry is also configured to detect a touch-based input at a position on the navigation pane and determine a scaled position on the user interface corresponding to the position on the navigation pane. The processing circuitry is further configured to interpret the touch-based input at the position on the navigation pane as an equivalent touch-based input at the scaled position on the user interface and trigger an event corresponding to the equivalent touch-based input at the scaled position on the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20120210257
Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing and displaying power plant data are able to access continuous live and/or historical operational data and identify within the data: (a) instances of at least one given type of power plant operation, (b) key events that may occur during an instance of the at least one given type of power plant operation, and (c) one or more time-based segments based on the key events and a physical segmentation of the power plant. Performance aspects for selected identified power plant operation instances can be quantified by comparing the identified instances with metrics that are predefined relative to the key events and segmentation within each type of power plant operation. Selected data associated with the identified instances are provided as electronic output to a user.
