  • Publication number: 20240028661
Abstract: Techniques of modifying user interfaces associated with a browser application includes enabling a user to modify a web page as displayed by the web browser in a way not anticipated by the creators of the web page elements and without needing to understand the internal structure of the web page. For example, improved techniques implemented as part of the technical solution would allow a participant in a web meeting to emphasize the names of other participants having the same manager without knowing anything about the architecture or programming code associated with the web meeting application.

  • Publication number: 20230406531
Abstract: A system ensures the correct type of fuel is dispensed in an aircraft while removing the introduction of human error in the refueling process. The system includes an RFID tag disposed at one or more aircraft that electronically stores data such as engine type, engine hours, fuel type, tail number, and pilot/subscriber data for the aircraft on which the RFID tag is disposed. An RFID reader is disposed at or near a fuel dispensing mechanism, such as a fuel truck or tank. A signal indicative of fuel type is emitted from the RFID tag to the RFID reader. RFID tags on aircraft that are enrolled in the system's subscription service enable aircraft to be recognized by a module operating the fuel dispensing mechanism. Based on a comparison performed by the module, authorization to begin fueling is either permitted or declined.

  • Patent number: 10997240
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for dynamically determining highlights of media content based on user interaction metrics and/or social media metrics. In one embodiment, an example method may include determining media content streamed to user devices over a time period and corresponding to a live event, determining user interaction data associated with the media content and indicative of user interactions with the user devices, determining, using the user interaction data, a quality score for a time interval during the time period, the quality score indicative of user engagement in a segment of the media content, determining, using the time interval and segment-by-segment metadata, a stream start time and a stream end time for the segment, generating, using the stream start time and the stream end time, a clip of the segment, and determining, using the quality score, that the clip is to be included in a highlight.

  • Patent number: 10042741
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for determining a small subset of tests that provides substantially the same coverage as the set of tests. During operation, a system (e.g., a computer system) can determine a set of tests by, for each object in a set of objects, selecting up to a pre-determined number of tests that provide test coverage for the object. Next, the system can determine a subset of tests by iteratively performing a loop, which can comprise: selecting a test in the set of tests; removing, from the set of objects, one or more objects that are covered by the selected test; and optionally removing, from the set of tests, one or more tests that do not cover any objects in the remaining set of objects. The system can terminate the loop after a termination condition is met and report the selected tests as the subset of tests.

  • Patent number: 9378000
Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing compiler optimizations is described. The method determines one or more impossible values for a variable in a program code based on a plurality of values of the variable. The method propagates the one or more impossible values for the variable throughout the program code. The method identifies a set of unreachable targets in the program code based on the propagated impossible values for the variable. The method removes objects associated with the set of unreachable targets.
