  • Patent number: 9776831
Abstract: A platform assembly includes a first platform module having an elongated front face, a second platform module having an elongated front face, and a locking member for locking the front faces of the first and second platform modules to each other. The locking member is movably mounted on the first platform module in a longitudinal direction of the front face thereof, and at least one of the locking member and the second platform includes a locking protrusion, and the other of the locking member and the second platform includes a locking slot, wherein the locking protrusion is received by the locking slot and protrudes from the front face of the first platform module. An edge of the locking protrusion is behind an edge of the locking slot when the locking member is moved in said longitudinal direction of the front face, thereby locking the platform modules to each other.

  • Patent number: 7684323
Abstract: Control device behavior in error situations where an error response is received from an application is improved. In case a response message received from an application for a communication request is evaluated as an error message by the control device, control of the communication request can be continued on the basis of service-specific data.

  • Publication number: 20050155036
Abstract: Method and system addressing a serving entity in a communication network are disclosed. On the basis of a service address, a user registration message for a service is sent to a serving entity group having a plurality of serving entities, each of which is arranged to support the service. Upon receiving a message acknowledging the sent registration message and including an address of a serving entity selected from the serving entity group for supporting the service, the address of the selected serving entity is included into an address table comprising service addresses and serving entity addresses.

  • Patent number: 6807414
Abstract: A method of transferring the identity of subscriber A to a second centre (VMSC) serving a roaming subscriber B. A first centre (GMSC) receives a call set-up request from subscriber A and defines the identities of the subscribers and the address of the second centre (VMSC). It then sends to a service control point (SCP) an intelligent network service initiating message. The service control point (SCP) sends to the second centre (VMSC) an indication stating the identity of subscriber A and that a call is incoming to subscriber B. The second centre (VMSC) may send corresponding information to subscriber B's mobile station (MS) and receive from it a response, which it sends to the service control point (SCP). The latter analyzes the response and issues in response thereto necessary call set-up instructions to the first centre (GMSC) which sets up the call to subscriber B's mobile station (MS), provided that said response indicates that subscriber B accepts said call.

  • Patent number: 6771959
Abstract: A method for transmitting a call parameter, such as the identifier (A#) of an A subscriber, to a first switching centre (GMSC) from a second switching centre (VMSC) serving the terminal (MS) of an A subscriber, when both switching centres (GMSC, VMSC) are connected to an intelligent network service control point (SCP). The second switching centre (VMSC) receives from the A subscriber a call set-up request (2) to set up a call through the first switching centre (GMSC). The second switching centre (VMSC) transmits to the service control point (SCP) an intelligent network service initiation message (4) which contains the call parameter (A#). The service control point saves (6) into its memory the call parameter (A#) to wait for a second intelligent network service initiation message (12) associated with the same call. The second switching centre (VMSC) routes (10) the call to the first switching centre (GMSC).

  • Patent number: 6101250
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a call attempt by employing an intelligent network. The method includes (a) processing the call attempt according to the originating half BCSM (O.sub.-- BCSM) at a first point (SSP.sub.-- A) having a service switching function (SSF), (b) resuming the processing of the call attempt according to the terminating half BCSM (T.sub.-- BCSM) at a second point (SSP.sub.-- B) with a service switching function (SSF), and (c) providing a service request from the processing that employs T.sub.-- BCSM to a point (SCP) having a service control function (SCF). In order to be able to offer versatile IN services to the called subscriber as well, the processing of the call attempt is returned to the point employing the O.sub.-- BCSM, and the processing is resumed according to the O.sub.-- BCSM.

  • Patent number: 5974030
Abstract: A subscriber multiplexer includes a receiver for receiving signals transmitted from subscriber interfaces a feeder and for feeding those signals further to a telephone exchange via a respective PCM connection, and a feeder for feeding signals transmitted from the telephone exchange via the respective PCM connection further to the subscriber interfaces. For detecting the condition of the subscriber interfaces, the subscriber multiplexer includes measuring devices for checking the condition of the subscriber interface of the subscriber multiplexer, and a controller for activating the measuring devices in response to a measurement request signal transmitted by the telephone exchange via the respective PCM connection to achieve a measurement result, and for transmitting a message describing the measurement result to the telephone exchange to a telephone system and a method for communicating the condition of a subscriber interface of a subscriber multiplexer.
