  • Patent number: 10016208
Abstract: A tool is configured to cut a tissue body. The tool includes a first section configured to be coupled to a transducer assembly, and a second section coupled to the first section. The first section at least partially includes a first material. The second section at least partially includes a second material that is different from the first material and denser than the first material. The second includes a cutting member that is configured to vibrate at a predetermined frequency so as to cut a tissue body an operative portion.

  • Patent number: 9820826
Abstract: The invention provides an ultrasonic tip in titanium for ultrasonic instrument, and further provides a method of dental treatment of peri-implantitis using an ultrasonic tip operable to cooperate with an ultrasonic instrument to transmit ultrasonic vibrations to a surface of a dental implant to be treated, said implant and said ultrasonic tip being made of titanium. The present invention guarantees a safe and complete debridement of most implants for the dental treatment of peri-implantitis, and for the maintenance of the implant surface after such a treatment. Designed in pure titanium, like most dental implant in the market, the tip of the present invention advantageously avoids the transfer of material on the implant and the alteration of the surface, thereby preventing the risk of bacterial recontamination.

  • Publication number: 20160270889
Abstract: A polisher nozzle for dental treatment comprises a body extending between a proximal portion for connection to a handpiece and a distal portion. The body has a first channel for delivering a dental polishing powder and a second channel for delivering a fluid. The two channels each open out to at least one respective orifice opening out in the vicinity of the free end of the distal portion wherein the free end of the distal portion forms a spatula extending in line with the distal portion downstream from the orifices. The spatula is arranged at a distance from the orifices in such a manner as to disturb at least in part the flow formed by the dental polishing powder combining with the fluid leaving the orifices.
