Abstract: Various devices, systems, and methods are described herein that provide bi-directional, and even multi-directional airflow within fan systems. These fan systems can be utilized by devices such as datacenter switches to change from one direction of airflow (such as port side inlet) to another direction (such as port side exhaust). This can be done manually by having a multi-directional fan housed within an enclosure that provides access through a hatch door. The multi-directional fan can be removed and reoriented to a second direction, thus providing airflow with the same quality and pressure in multiple directions. Fan changes can also be automated through one or more interlocking rotational gears coupled to the fans within a housing, such that rotating one gear will rotate each of the fans within the housing, thus changing the direction of the airflow. By doing this, only one fan is needed to provide airflow in multiple directions.

Abstract: The systems and cold plate pedestal and assembly described decrease mechanical stresses in integrated circuits, while also providing efficient thermal coupling between heat producing components and a cold plate. A cold plate assembly includes a cold plate with a pedestal portion a groove formed in a surface of the pedestal portion. The cold plate assembly also includes a thermal pad layer formed in the groove and a phase change material (PCM) layer formed on the surface of the pedestal portion and a surface of the thermal pad layer formed in the groove.

Abstract: A sand source selecting structure for a sandblasting gun has a main body; a channel provided in the main body, for passing pressurized gas; at least two sub-channels provided in the main body respectively connected to the channel; a sandbox mounted on the main body connected to the channel through the first sub-channel; a first control valve installed in the first sub-channel; and a second control valve installed in the second sub-channel. Therefore, the combination of the first control valve with the second valve provides a selecting structure, which can offer different sand supply sources.

Abstract: A tire-inspecting apparatus includes a shell, a valve, two tubes and a controller system. The shell includes two channels. The valve is inserted in the shell and adapted for controlling communication of the channels with each other. The first tube includes an end inserted in the first channel and another end for connection to a valve of a tire. The second tube includes an end inserted in the second channel and another end for connection to a pump. The controller system is inserted in the shell and adapted for measuring air pressure in the tire and storing values of air pressure.

Abstract: A tire inflation device capable of detecting and recording a tire pressure in real time is formed of a gas supply unit, a sensing unit, a control unit, and a communication unit. The gas supply unit is to inflate a tire with a gas. The sensing unit is mounted to the gas supply unit for detecting the tire pressures of the tires and then outputting sensing signals. The control unit is connected with the sensing unit for receiving the sensing signals and converting them into tire-pressure data. The communication unit is connected with the control unit for transmitting the tire-pressure data to a signal recording device.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sport goggle that includes a latching mechanism for a user to quickly release a lens from a frame without tools. The lens is released from the frame by pressing a button surface which bends a spring member in the frame unlocking the lens.

Abstract: A pneumatic paintball marker has, for example, a feed system for receiving paintballs from paintball containers having different outlets. The feed system includes a lever and a drive system. The drive system defines an opening through the marker and into the breech. Actuation of the lever moves the opening between at least two positions. The breech receives paintballs from one of the containers when in the first position and from the other paintball container when in the second position.

The network linking device includes a media access controller (MAC), a buffer and a feature value evaluator. The MAC in communication with the external network receives a data packet from the external network, and stores the data packet in the buffer in communication therewith. The feature value evaluator in communication with the buffer determines whether the data packet complies with a transfer condition according to a feature value included in the data packet, and actuates the MAC to assert an interrupt signal to the computer host when the feature value indicates the data packet complies with the transfer condition. A method for transferring a data packet between a computer host and an external network is also disclosed.
