Abstract: Spunbond-meltblown-spunbond nonwoven fabrics having good softness, drape and extensibility, in addition to strength and barrier, are formed from combinations of bicomponent spunbond fibers having low fiber denier and biconstituent meltblown fibers. The spunbond fibers include an outer sheath portion formed using a first polyolefin and an inner core portion formed using a second polyolefin or polyester. The meltblown fibers include first meltblown fibers formed using a polyolefin and second meltblown fibers formed using a polyester.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for producing nonwoven fibrous webs. The apparatus comprises an extrusion die, first and second fluid supplies in cooperation with the die, first and second extrusion capillaries, first counterbores allowing fluid communication between first capillaries and first supply and second counterbores allowing fluid communication between second capillaries and second supply, each first counterbore having at least two first capillaries extending therefrom.

Abstract: A process for manufacturing a fiber reinforced elastomeric article is provided. The process contemplates depositing a plurality of fibers onto a former and dipping the former into a polymer bath containing an elastomeric material to create a fiber reinforced elastomeric article. Depending upon the fibers selected, the fibers may be applied to a dry former or onto a former coated with a tacky surface such as a still wet elastomeric polymer.

Abstract: A cash rebate award system with increased payout options is presented, wherein a consumer using a financial alternative to currency is rewarded based on the purchases made by the consumer within a given time frame, and is allowed to electronically transfer the award into any number of banking or investment accounts. A standard electronic currency transfer system, such as the ABA routing number system, or the ACH routing system, can be used so as not to limit the accounts into which the consumer can transfer their award. Consumers can also choose to transfer their award to multiple accounts, or accounts belonging to others, such as family or charities. Account information can also be saved for more efficient subsequent transfers, and automated transfers can also be set up by the consumer.
