Abstract: A remote control toy includes a remote land vehicle which is controlled by a hand controller configured in the shape of a flying vehicle. The hand controller includes a switch for controlling forward and rearward movement of the land vehicle and a photoelectric tilt switch for controlling steering of the land vehicle wherein tilting movement of the flying vehicle hand controller causes steering of the land vehicle. The tilting movement of the hand controller for steering creates that appearance that the flying vehicle is following or chasing the land vehicle.

Abstract: A multilayer three dimensional puzzle includes two or more planar layers supported by separators in a spaced relationship to one another. Each layer consists of assembled interlocking puzzle pieces. Assembled, spaced apart layers form a scene with a three dimensional effect. The assembly forms a rigid self supporting structure that can stand on a horizontal surface or be supported from a single point to hang as a mobile. Each of the puzzle layers can be printed on both sides to increase the assembly challenge and permit viewing from all sides. The three dimensional effect can be accentuated by providing a slight curve to one or more of the layers or dimensioning the separators to place the planar layers at a small angle to one another.

Abstract: A coloring device for transferring coloring materials from a writing or drawing instrument to a surface is disclosed. The coloring device includes a housing having a holder to hold a writing instrument, and, a roller connected to the housing for rotation about an axis. The roller is position to contact a writing instrument disposed in the holder to obtain coloring material therefrom and is further positioned to contact a surface to transfer the coloring material obtained from the writing instrument thereto as the roller rotates about the axis. In accordance with one optional aspect of the invention, the coloring device can be further provided with means for rotating the roller. These means may comprise a motor, a hand crank, or any other equivalent structure that can impart rotational motion to the roller. If the means for rotating is excluded, the roller is rotated by moving the coloring device such that the roller rolls against the surface to be marked.

Abstract: A portable drum sound simulator is provided which includes an electronic drum sound generating means capable of generating a plurality of drum-like sound outputs and energizable in response to electrical trigger signals. Also included is a tone pitch varying means which varies by a plurality of steps the tone pitch of the drum-like sound outputs. A switch allows a user to select a desired drum-like sound output and another switch allows a user to select a desired tone pitch for the drum-like sound output. These two switches are each mounted on a respective drumstick each of which also includes a normally open electrical switch. These electrical switches are connected to the drum sound generating means and when closed causes a trigger circuit to develop a trigger signal which energizes the drum sound generating means so as to generate the drum-like sound output.

Abstract: Vibration triggered game device having a housing with a vibration sensitive reference base to generate vibrations in response to a manually applied vibratory stimulus during game play, and a circuit to sense the level of those vibrations relative to a preselective, e.g. adjustable, threshold value, and including an indicator, e.g. an audible signal emitter, triggered when that level exceeds the threshold value, to indicate the achieving of an event in the game. The circuit may include a piezo transducer to detect the vibrations and to emit the signal. The housing may be a game board provided with play elements depositable on, movable along, and/or removable from, the reference base, or the housing may be an object graspable during play, with all such manual actions being effectable at a vibration level above or below the threshold value depending upon player skill and dexterity.

Abstract: A novelty toy including a flexible bladder in any desired shape having a sealable filling stem for receiving a moldable filling medium such as a cohesive mixture of hollow or solid microspheres and water, wherein after being filled with the filling medium the filling stem is sealed and pushed into the flexible bladder.

Abstract: A portable drum sound simulator, especially suitable for carrying by the user, includes a pair of drumsticks containing electrical switches which are actuated by change in motion. The switches are connected to a trigger circuit which initiates operation of a drum sound generator every time a switch is closed. The drum sound signal after amplification drives a loudspeaker. The circuits and loudspeaker are all contained in a small portable case. In an alternative embodiment, a radio receiver is included, whereby the simulator is selectively used as an independent radio, an independent drum sound simulator, or combining the radio signal with the operator produced drum signals.

Abstract: The toy combination includes a toy vehicle having one or more pairs of spaced apart shoulders on exterior sides of the vehicle body and one or more toy attachments releasably secured on the pairs of shoulders by snap-fitting a respective pair of rails on the toy attachment against a respective pair of shoulders. The toy attachment includes resilient extensions on which the rails are carried. The extensions are flexed to snap-fit the rails on the shoulders. The toy attachment can include first and second pairs of extensions adjacent opposite ends with a receptacle intermediate the extensions for releasably receiving a toy figure.

Abstract: The toy combination includes a self-powered toy vehicle with driven wheels adjacent the front thereof and a toy trailer with non-driven wheels and with a receptacle on the trailer in front of its wheels releasably receiving the rear of the toy vehicle. The toy vehicle and trailer include cooperative details for locating and interlocking them together when the rear of the vehicle is received in the receptacle. The toy vehicle and trailer are configured such that the toy combination formed thereby resembles a tractor-trailer type truck whose front wheels comprise the driven wheels of the toy vehicle and whose rear wheels comprise the wheels of the trailer.

Abstract: A water action toy is worn on a child's hand by means of a glove secured to and underneath a housing in which a water reservoir, a water pump, an electrical motor and a battery pack are housed. A pair of actuators are mounted on a thumb sheath and a forefinger sheath of the glove. When the actuators are brought together by finger manipulation, the motor drives the pump to eject water in a series of spurts from the toy.

Abstract: A plug valve whose chamber or bore and whose runs or port passages are fully lined with corrosion-resistant material, most preferably polytetrafluoroethylene, such valve having recesses in its runs, near their intersection with the bore, into which lining material distended by heat and pressure may creep, and with the valve body defining an internally-rounded concave wall or dome at the bottom of the bore. The lining material is formed within the runs so as to be under tension longitudinally between the bore and the outer ends of the runs, and the lining material extends integrally upwardly from the bore and outwardly of the valve body to define a thick collar immediately above the neck of the bore. The valve is manufactured by use of an integral hollow rubber or like forming element comprised of tubular legs, and is placed inside the valve body with one such tubular leg extending through each run and through the bore.
