    Abstract: A shut-off device including: a support frame having four sides, a first and second levers configured to be set in motion by an actuator, a first connecting part connected with the first lever, and a second connecting part connected with the second lever, a first set of flaps and a second set of flaps, fastened respectively to the first and second connecting parts. Each flap includes a flap lever arm connecting the flap to the respective first or second connecting part. The first lever includes a primary lever arm connecting the first lever to the first connecting part. The second lever includes a secondary lever arm connecting the second lever to the second connecting part. Each flap lever arm is shorter than any of the primary and secondary lever arms. The first lever and the second lever are connected to one another by a connecting rod.
