  • Publication number: 20240111356
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods of operating a flexible and optimized power management unit (PMU) for multiple power supply scenarios are described. One integrated circuit includes a first terminal to couple to an unregulated power supply, a second terminal to couple to a regulated power supply, a first regulator, and a second regulator. The first regulator outputs a first supply voltage in a first configuration, and the second regulator outputs a second supply voltage in a second configuration. The first and second regulators do not operate concurrently.

  • Publication number: 20190096287
Abstract: A system for performing audio-enhanced, simulated ultrasound examinations may generally include an ultrasound simulation device having at least one processor and associated memory. The memory may store pre-recorded audio-enhanced ultrasound data for at least one internal organ. The audio-enhanced ultrasound data may include a moving ultrasound image of the at least one internal organ along with synced audio data associated with auscultatory sounds generated by the at least one internal organ depicted within the moving ultrasound image. In addition, the system may include a display and a speaker coupled to the ultrasound simulation device. The display may be configured to display the moving ultrasound image as a trainee is performing the simulated ultrasound examination. The speaker may be configured to broadcast the synced audio data simultaneously with the display of the moving ultrasound image.

  • Patent number: 9675322
Abstract: In one aspect, an enhanced ultrasound device may generally comprise an ultrasound probe including a housing and at least one transducer element disposed within the housing. The ultrasound probe may be configured to generate ultrasound image signals associated with an object being imaged. In addition, the device may include an acoustic receiver associated with the ultrasound probe. The acoustic receiver may be configured to generate auscultation signals associated with sounds generated by the object as the object is being imaged using the ultrasound probe.

  • Publication number: 20150086959
Abstract: A method for conducting ultrasonography training using ultrasound loop control may generally include providing for display a moving ultrasound image of an internal body part, wherein the moving ultrasound image is associated with an image frame loop including a plurality of individual image frames. The method may also include receiving an initial input from a user associated with stopping the moving ultrasound image at a current image frame of the image frame loop, receiving a second input associated with cycling forward or backwards through the image frame loop in order to provide additional image frames of the image frame loop for display to the user and receiving a third input associated with a submission of one of the image frames as a selected image frame.
