  • Publication number: 20240148401
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an arthroscopic resection device. The device includes an outer member including a hub, an inner member including a hub, the inner member housed within the outer member, a tube coupled to the outer member, and means for allowing longitudinal movement of the outer member relative to the inner member, the means coupled to the tube. A method of tissue repair and other arthroscopic resection devices are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10955005
Abstract: A seal for sealing between a trunnion and bearing cup of a joint member includes a main annular body. A plurality of annular lips extend radially inwardly from the main body. The lips are configured for engaging an outer bearing surface of the trunnion. A first one and a second one of the lips slope in a first direction with respect to the outer bearing surface of the trunnion and a third one of the lips slope in a second direction with respect to the outer bearing surface of the trunnion.

  • Publication number: 20200108715
Abstract: A driveshaft apparatus includes a main driveshaft, a collar, and a driveshaft yoke, which attaches to a flange yoke via a cardan joint. The flange yoke is configured to attach to a transmission, transfer case or differential, where the torque from the transmission or transfer case is transmitted through the driveshaft to the differential or drive axle. The driveshaft yoke includes a stem portion having a reduced diameter relative to the main driveshaft, which may be in the form of a tube. The reduced diameter of the stem portion shifts the larger diameter further away from the flange yoke, and provides an annular space outside of the stem portion. The annular space provides increased clearance to a tool used to drive the bolts that attach the flange yoke to the transmission, transfer case, drive axle, or the differential. The stem portion may attach to the driveshaft via the collar.

  • Patent number: 8083595
Abstract: A propshaft assembly that includes first and second shaft members, a joint, a center bearing assembly and a deflector. The joint couples the first and second shaft members to one another. The center bearing assembly includes a bearing that supports the joint. The deflector is coupled to the joint and shields an axial side of the bearing.

  • Patent number: 8056410
Abstract: A method for determining an imbalance of a propeller shaft assembly can include establishing balancing planes relative to certain areas of the propeller shaft assembly and identifying each component of the propeller shaft assembly that could have a potential imbalance condition due to a tolerance variation. The method can also include determining the potential imbalance condition for each identified component, and determining a contribution of each determined potential imbalance condition to a respective pair of the established balancing planes. The method can further include determining a total magnitude of imbalance at the respective pair of established balancing planes based on the determined contributions of each potential imbalance condition, and determining a statistically representative value of the determined magnitude of imbalance.
