  • Publication number: 20170269984
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for improved processor hang detection. An exemplary method comprises setting a timer with a hang threshold value for each of a plurality of processors of a system on a chip (SoC). The hang threshold value represents a time in microseconds. The method further comprising receiving a first heartbeat signal from each of the plurality of processors with detection logic hardware of a hang controller coupled to the plurality of processors and to the timer. The timer is reset for each of the plurality of processors if a second heartbeat signal is received from the corresponding one of the plurality of processors before the timer expires. Alternatively, a hang event notification is generated if the second heartbeat signal is not received from the corresponding one of the plurality of processors before the timer expires.

  • Publication number: 20160354006
Abstract: The present invention relates to a band-type heart electromagnetic wave collecting device, which includes a banded base and a waterproofing conductive electromagnetic wave collection portion disposed thereon, so that the electromagnetic wave collection portion is aligned with the heart to measure electromagnetic wave signals sent by the heart after the band-type heart electromagnetic wave collecting device is surrounded a human chest. The present invention also discloses a manufacture method of a band-type heart electromagnetic wave collecting device. Since a deposition technology is employed in the present invention to deposit metal ions with small resistivity on the device and auxetic materials are used, the device can better cling to skins, so that the data collected is more accurate. A plastic gasket added ensures the intensity and rigidness of the entire band-type heart electromagnetic wave collecting device, so that the device cannot be deformed due to the data collection process.

  • Publication number: 20160194425
Abstract: Highly expandable materials have been developed for filling an aneurysm sac and for sealing of endoluminal devices vessel walls. The expandable materials have appropriate chemical and physical properties to withstand radiation, sterilization, or storage in sterilizing solution, without loss of expandable characteristics. The expandable materials may contain protectants, prophylactic, diagnostic, therapeutic, or imaging agents. The expandable materials form a seal that actively conforms to vascular anatomy sealing any leaks that may occur after device implantation. In one embodiment, the technology is used to prevent leaks associated with abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair, especially for complex AAA repair.

  • Patent number: 9378790
Abstract: Memories, buffered write command circuits, and methods for executing memory commands in a memory. In some embodiments, read commands that are received after write commands are executed internally prior to executing the earlier received write commands. Write commands are buffered so that the commands can be executed upon completion of the later received read command. One example of a buffered write command circuit includes a write command buffer to buffer write commands and propagate buffered write commands therethrough in response to a clock signal and further includes write command buffer logic. The write command buffer logic generates an active clock signal to propagate the buffered write commands through the write command buffer for execution, suspends the active clock signal in response to receiving a read command after the write command is received, and restarts the active clock upon completion of the later received read command.

  • Publication number: 20160106538
Abstract: Expandable sealing means for endoluminal devices have been developed for controlled activation. The devices have the benefits of a low profile mechanism (for both self-expanding and balloon-expanding prostheses), contained, not open, release of the material, active conformation to the “leak sites” such that leakage areas are filled without disrupting the physical and functional integrity of the prosthesis, and on-demand, controlled activation, that may not be pressure activated.

  • Patent number: 9304844
Abstract: One or more triggers may be coupled to sources on a system on a chip of a portable computing device. The sources monitor the system for status conditions. The one or more triggers are coupled to a trigger bus. A sequencer engine is coupled to the trigger bus and a communication bus. The sequencer engine receives one or more instructions from the communication bus for determining how the sequencer engine should monitor the one or more triggers via the trigger bus and preserve data received from the one or more triggers before a system reset. The sequencer engine then receives data from the one or more triggers and stores the data in local memory storage. The sequencer engine, if programmed, may generate at least one of a trace packet, an interrupt signal, and a general purpose input/output signal in response to receiving data from one or more triggers.

  • Publication number: 20160070634
Abstract: Systems and methods for external access detection and recovery in a subsystem of a system-on-a-chip (SoC) in a portable computing device (PCD) are presented. In operation, a subsystem of the SoC is operated independently of the rest of the SoC, such as when the SoC is in a non-functional or low power mode or state. The subsystem comprises a hardware agent in communication with a trace buffer. While the subsystem is operating independently of the rest of the SoC, the trace buffer captures trace data about the operation of the subsystem. During the operation of the subsystem, in response to identifying a trigger event, the trace buffer stops capturing the trace data, and a wake-up notification comprising a signal from the hardware agent to the SoC is communicated.

  • Publication number: 20150370673
Abstract: Communication channels among a connector port module, a debug interface module, and a power communication interface module may be established. Each of these elements may be part of a system-on-chip. The power communication interface module may be coupled to an integrated circuit, such as a power management integrated circuit. The connector port module may be coupled to a connector, in which the connector may facilitate connections between the PCD and one or more external devices, such as a testing/debugging device. The connector may comprise an SD connector. The connector may be monitored for a device present signal. If a device present signal has been detected, then it may be determined if a valid access code has been received for allowing access to communications within the PCD. If a valid access code is received, then a command may be issued to relinquish control of the integrated circuit from a master processor.
