Publication number: 20190029651Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system and method filter the data of successive ultrasonic images of moving tissue. At least two successive images are clutter filtered to remove clutter in the image data from stationary objects. The successive images and the filtered successive images are both used to produce displacement images of frame to frame tissue motion, and a quality metric is produced of the quality of the estimated displacement. The displacement image with the best quality metric is selected for further processing such as the production of strain images. The selected displacement image may further be spatially filtered to reduce boundary artifacts.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2017Publication date: January 31, 2019Inventors: Abhay Vijay Patil, Francois Guy Gerard Marie Vignon, Sheng-Wen Huang, Scott William Dianis, Karl Erhard Thiele

Patent number: 10068241Abstract: Example dynamic pricing systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a method receives an indication of an occurrence of a first event unrelated to a particular customer. The method also receives an indication of an occurrence of a second event unrelated to a particular customer. Based on the first event and the second event, the method determines whether to adjust a price associated with a particular item. If the method determines that the price associated with the particular item needs adjustment, a new price for the particular item is determined based on the first event and the second event.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2014Date of Patent: September 4, 2018Assignee: WALMART APOLLO, LLCInventors: Amaresh Nayak, Vijay Patil

Publication number: 20180014812Abstract: Real time strain imaging is provided by acquiring a sequence of cardiac image frames and estimating tissue displacement in the myocardium over a heart cycle. The displacements may be estimated using speckle tracking and are used to calculate strain over the myocardium. A color map is formed of the strain values. During the next heart cycle the color map is warped to fit the myocardium in each image frame and the warped color map is displayed as a color overlay over the myocardium of each image of the new heart cycle as they are displayed in real time. A new color map is also produced over the new heart cycle for use with the following heart cycle. An ultrasound system which performs real time strain imaging is also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2016Publication date: January 18, 2018Inventors: ABHAY VIJAY PATIL, ATUL INGLE, KARL ERHARD THIELE

Publication number: 20170312548Abstract: A medical imaging system configured to provide cardiac sonothrombolysis therapy is disclosed. Various embodiments of portable cardiac sonothrombolysis devices are disclosed. The devices may be configured to determine if one or more ultrasound probes have a proper view of the heart, and if not, may steer the beam to a desired location. The ultrasound probes may be configured for both imaging and cardiac sonothrombolysis therapy. The ultrasound probes may be configured to be hands-free. The portable devices may be configured to provide operating instructions to an operator. The instructions may be provided via graphics, audio, and/or video.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2015Publication date: November 2, 2017Inventors: ABHAY VIJAY PATIL, PATRICK G. RAFTER, ROBERT L. BURNHAM, MICHAEL PESZYNSKI, JEANNE CHENG

Patent number: 9558076Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes the step of communicatively coupling with an application-server local area network (LAN). The physical servers are discovered in the application-server LAN. The applications running in one or more physical servers in the application-server LAN are discovered. The application data and the application metadata are captured. The application data and the application metadata are parsed. The unique data blocks of the application data and the application metadata are identified. The unique data blocks are uploaded to a cloud-computing platform. It is determined that the one or more physical servers running the application data and the application metadata is no longer available in the application-server LAN. A cloud-based appliance in the cloud-computing platform is placed in an operational state. An application associated with the application data and the application metadata is identified.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2014Date of Patent: January 31, 2017Inventors: Sachin Baban Durge, Kuldeep Sureshrao Nagarkar, Ravender Goyal, Amarsinh Vijay Patil, Chaitanya Surendra Ramdasi, Kulangara Kuriakose George

Publication number: 20160199030Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system comprises a CMUT transducer probe with an array (10?) of CMUT cells either of the same or variable diameters operated in a conventional mode during ultrasonic signal reception and a collapsed mode during ultrasonic signal transmission. The frequency response to the CMUT cells is tailored for different clinical applications or continuously varied during echo reception by decreasing the DC bias voltage for the CMUT cells for lower frequency clinical applications, increasing the DC bias voltage for higher frequency clinical applications, or continuously decreasing the DC bias voltage as echoes are received to track the information frequency composition of the returning echo signals.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2014Publication date: July 14, 2016Applicant: KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS N.V.Inventors: ABHAY VIJAY PATIL, JUNHO SONG
