  • Patent number: 11968562
Abstract: NAS signaling between a UE and a server is enhanced by performing one of: sending a registration complete message to the server using existing NAS signaling and without starting a release timer in response to receiving an RC_ID deletion IE in a registration accept message; and not sending the registration complete message to the server in response to receiving the RC_ID deletion IE in the registration accept message. A registration procedure is reinstated based on a stored RC_ID.

  • Patent number: 11945169
Abstract: A 3D printer includes a nozzle configured to jet a drop of liquid metal therethrough. The 3D printer also includes a light source configured to illuminate the drop with a pulse of light. A duration of the pulse of light is from about 0.0001 seconds to about 0.1 seconds. The 3D printer also includes a camera configured to capture an image, video, or both of the drop. The 3D printer also includes a computing system configured to detect the drop in the image, the video, or both. The computing system is also configured to characterize the drop after the drop is detected. Characterizing the drop includes determining a size of the drop, a location of the drop, or both in the image, the video, or both.

  • Patent number: 11921597
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or computing devices are provided for cross-platform replication. For example, a replication relationship may be established between a first storage endpoint and a second storage endpoint, where at least one of the storage endpoints, such as the first storage endpoint, lacks or has incompatible functionality to perform and manage replication because the storage endpoints have different storage platforms that store data differently, use different control operations and interfaces, etc. Accordingly, replication destination workflow, replication source workflow, and/or a proxy representing the first storage endpoint may be implemented at the second storage endpoint comprising the replication functionality.

  • Patent number: 11907433
Abstract: A method of touchless activation of an electrically activated device may comprise: receiving, via a processor and through a sensor in an aircraft cabin, gesture data; comparing, via the processor, the gesture data to a predetermined gesture, the predetermined gesture being created by transitioning a hand from a first position to a second position, one of the first position and the second position being a closed fist, a remainder of the first position and the second position being an open palm; determining, via the processor, whether the gesture data matches the predetermined gesture; and commanding, via the processor, the electrically activated device to change from a first state to a second state.

  • Patent number: 11650941
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to a computing tile are described. The computing tile may perform operations on received data to extract some of the received data. The computing tile may perform operations without intervening commands. The computing tile may perform operations on data streamed through the computing tile to extract relevant data from data received by the computing tile. In an example, the computing tile is configured to receive a command to initiate an operation to reduce a size of a block of data from a first size to a second size. The computing tile can then receive a block of data from a memory device coupled to the apparatus. The computing tile can then perform an operation on the block of data to extract predetermined data from the block of data to reduce a size of the block of data from a first size to a second size.

  • Publication number: 20220122738
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for establishing contact tracing for a group of users within a venue. Position information in the venue may be estimated for each user over a period of time based at least in part on data from a portable device associated with each user. At least one contact parameter may be established so that contact between at least two users of the group of users during the period of time may be determined based at least in part on the at least one contact parameter and the estimated position information.
