  • Patent number: 11832858
Abstract: A method for securing a first interacting element to a second interacting element is provided. The first interacting element includes a lateral surface established by a first surface and a second surface and at least a portion of the lateral surface includes a thread receipt. The second interacting element includes a distal end and a proximal end that establishes a body therebetween. The body has a thread that is configured to at least partially engage with the thread receipt of the first interacting element. The second interacting element is then inserted at least partially through the surface of an object. The thread receipt of the first interacting element is then abutted adjacent to the thread of the second interacting element. Upon rotation of the second interacting element the thread of the second interacting element at least partially engaged with the thread receipt of the first interacting element.

  • Publication number: 20230362797
Abstract: Embodiments of a device and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for wireless channel scanning involves at a cloud server, building a set of channels for off-channel scanning to be performed by a selected group of wireless access points (APs), at the cloud server, determining whether the set of channels for off-channel scanning can be further pruned to generate a final optimized list of channels for off-channel scanning, and at the cloud server, sending the final optimized list of channels for off-channel scanning to the selected group of wireless APs.

  • Patent number: 11806030
Abstract: A device and method for drilling a pilot hole within an object at a predetermined angle. The device includes a spacer having a lateral surface established by a first surface and a second surface and at least a portion of the lateral surface includes an extension. The extension having a proximal end and a distal end where the proximal end abuts the lateral surface and the distal end is configured to coupled to a first end of a body. A guide body is also provided and is coupled to the device. The guide member includes a bore extending from a first end to a second end. Subsequent to disposing the spacer within the object, a drilling instrument may be disposed within the guide body thereby drilling out the pilot hole at the prescribed angle.

  • Publication number: 20230115572
Abstract: A device and method for treatment of post-operative surgical site wounds. The device includes a housing, a spool configured to rotate relative to the housing, and a catheter coupled to the spool. Rotating the spool in one direction winds the catheter about a column disposed on the spool, and enables the catheter to be retracted from the closed wound. In some embodiments, the device further includes a wound dressing disposed about a distal end of the catheter. In some embodiments, retracting the catheter from a closed wound enables a wound dressing to be retracted from the closed wound.

  • Patent number: 11400203
Abstract: A device and method for treatment of post-operative surgical site wounds. Device includes an elongated hollow shaft that spans from the wound closure to the deep wound area, the internal end abutting a wound dressing and the external end connecting to a device that can provide negative-pressure suction and irrigation. Device providing one or more of irrigation, suction, and/or local antibiotic delivery to deep infections through a closed-wound. The method for removal includes narrowing a removal element relative to the long axis, collapsing the wound dressing; removing the wound dressing through the elongated shaft; and removing the device through a closed wound, avoiding a second removal surgery.
