  • Patent number: 11330109
Abstract: Techniques described provide for transferring calls between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. One implementation may include receiving a request to transfer a call, which has been established between the first UE and a third party device, to be between a second UE and the third party device. Location information for the first and second UEs may be received. A determination may be made to determine whether the first and second UE are in proximity to each other. In the event that a determination is made that the first and second UE are in proximity to each other, the established call may be transferred from the first UE to the second UE. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 11317333
Abstract: A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to preempt SRVCC by triggering a handover to a Wi-Fi network. The apparatus determines whether a Wi-Fi cell is viable as a first target cell, from a plurality of target cells, serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus extends a TTT timer length based at least in part on the determination that the Wi-Fi cell is viable as the target cell serving the UE to continue the active transmission on the Wi-Fi cell. The apparatus initiates a handover to the Wi-Fi cell from the first network prior to the expiration of a TTT timer and prior to the first network initiating a handover to a second target cell, from the plurality of target cells, on a second network.

  • Publication number: 20220116829
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, during an active call on a first radio access technology (RAT), that a first condition for performing a handover from the first RAT to a second RAT is satisfied. The UE may determine that the second RAT would trigger a fallback to a third RAT after the handover from the first RAT to the second RAT and that a second condition for performing a handover from the third RAT to the first RAT is satisfied. The UE may refrain from performing the handover from the first RAT to the second RAT based at least in part on the determination that the second RAT would trigger the fallback and the determination that the second condition is satisfied. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Publication number: 20220096955
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for reducing or minimizing fouling within the primary fractionator of a pyrolysis reaction system. The reduced or minimized fouling can be achieved in part by providing one or more pump-around trays in the primary fractionator below the level of the fractionation trays for an intermediate product produced by the fractionator. Including a pump-around section below the fractionation trays can improve vapor distribution within the fractionation trays, which are believed to have an increased likelihood of accumulation of foulant deposits. Optionally, other vapor distribution devices can be included along with the pump-around section.

  • Publication number: 20220104091
Abstract: Various embodiments include methods and user equipment (UE) for mobile-terminated call handling when a latency-sensitive service (LSS) is active on the UE. Embodiments may include determining a radio access technology (RAT) used for a latency-sensitive service (LSS) currently active on the UE in response to receiving an MT call invitation and determining whether a latency-prone service command is received that includes service commands configured to change the determined RAT used for the LSS to another RAT likely to compromise the LSS. In response to determining that a latency-prone service command is received the MT call invitation may be rejected, but in response to determining that a latency-prone service command is not received, MT call alerting may be allowed.

  • Publication number: 20220060977
Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for improving audio quality in a multi-subscription wireless communication device having a first subscription associated with a first radio frequency (RF) resource, and a second subscription associated with a second RF resource. The wireless communication device may detect an active voice call on a modem stack associated with the first subscription, detect an active voice call on a modem stack associated with the second subscription, determine whether audio data processing for the active voice calls will conflict in time based on a first packet exchange timeline and a second packet exchange timeline, and misalign the audio data processing for the active voice call on the modem stack associated with the second subscription in response to determining that audio data processing for the active voice calls will conflict in time.

  • Publication number: 20220035564
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing a command from a host to a storage device are disclosed. A first controller of the storage device receives a first command from the host via a first queue. The first queue is exposed to the host. The storage device generates a second command based on the first command, and submits the second command to a second controller of the storage device via a second queue. The second command and the second queue are unexposed to the host. The second controller obtains and processes the second command from the second queue, where the processing is for accessing non-volatile storage media of the storage device. Based on status of the second command, the first controller transmits a signal to the host for indicating completion of the first command.

  • Publication number: 20220035530
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing copy commands are disclosed. A first controller of the storage device receives a copy command from a host via a first queue. The storage device generates, based on the copy command, a read command and a write command, and submits the read and write commands to a second controller of the storage device via a second queue. The second controller retrieves and processes the read and write commands from the second queue. The storage device reads, based on the processing of the read command, data stored in a first location of a storage media associated with a source address, and writes the data to a second location of the storage media associated with a destination address. The first controller transmits a signal to the host for indicating completion of the copy command.

  • Publication number: 20210409032
Abstract: A time-interleaved analog to digital converter (TI-ADC) includes a first sub-ADC configured to sample and convert an input analog signal to generate a first digital signal and a second sub-ADC configured to sample and convert said input analog signal to generate a second digital signal. Sampling by the second sub-ADC occurs with a time skew mismatch. A multiplexor interleaves the first and second digital signals to generate a third digital signal. A time skew mismatch error determination circuit processes the first and second digital signals to generate a time error corresponding to the time skew mismatch. A slope value of said third digital signal is determined and multiplied by the time error to generate a signal error. The signal error is summed with the third digital signal to generate a digital output signal which eliminates the error due to the time skew mismatch. This correction is performed in real time.
