Publication number: 20240121102Abstract: A method for checking cryptographic secrets for equality involves at least one of the secrets being stored in a read-protected manner in a secure system. The at least one secure system has a cryptographic hash value interface. For checking purposes, a hash value of the secret provided with a salt or with the hash value of a salt is output via the interface for comparison with a corresponding hash value of another secret provided with the salt or with the hash value of the salt.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2022Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Viktor FRIESEN, Viktor PAVLOVIC, Philipp WEBER

Publication number: 20240111373Abstract: An apparatus and method for detecting the angle of passive rotary knob partially located on a touch screen are described. In embodiments the apparatus includes a touch screen having an array of sensors and a dial that includes a base and a knob attached to the base and rotatable relative to the base. The knob includes a plurality of conductive elements, each positioned a distance from a center point of the knob. A controller is also included, coupled to the touch screen, and configured to receive signals generated by one or more sensors of the array in response to the sensors detecting one or more of the conductive elements. The controller can determine a rotational angle of the knob based on the signals generated by the one or more of the sensors in the array while a portion of the knob does not overlap the array of sensors.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Applicant: Cypress Semiconductor CorporationInventors: Jens WEBER, Taras KUZO, Viktor KREMIN

Patent number: 11928284Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices detect defects in touch panels. Methods include scanning, using a designated integration window, a plurality of electrodes of a sensing device to obtain a plurality of measurements and determining a plurality of variance values for the plurality of electrodes based on the plurality of measurements, the plurality of variance values identifying variances in the plurality of measurements between adjacent sense locations of the sensing device. Methods also include determining if a defect is present in the sensing device based, at least in part, on a comparison of the plurality of difference values with the plurality of threshold values.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Cypress Semiconductor CorporationInventors: Vadym Grygorenko, Viktor Kremin, Oleksii Bukhtii, Oleksandr Pirogov, Jens Weber, Taras Kuzo

Patent number: 10626868Abstract: An oil-injected screw air compressor includes a first stage compression chamber, an air buffering chamber, a second stage compression chamber, an oil cooler, a plurality of sensors, and a controller. The air buffering chamber is coupled to the first stage compression chamber. The second stare compression chamber is coupled to the air buffering chamber. The oil cooler cools the lubricating oil for the first stage compression chamber, the air buffering chamber and the second stage compression chamber. The sensors are respectively located at outlets of the first stage compression chamber, the air buffering chamber and the second stage compression chamber. The controller respectively and dynamically controls flow rates of the lubricating oil entering into the first stare compression chamber, the air buffering chamber and the second stage compression chamber according to temperature and pressure data measured by the sensors.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2017Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignees: ALMIG KOMPRESSOREN GMBH, FUSHENG INDUSTRIAL (SHANGHAI) CO., LTDInventors: Ming-Te Lu, Viktor Weber, Sheng-Kun Chen, Feng-Yung Lin
