  • Publication number: 20240138789
Abstract: A C-arm x-ray imaging device includes a base, a carriage operably connected to the base and having at least one axis of movement with respect to the base; a C-arm movably connected to the carriage, the C-arm including an x-ray source and an x-ray detector disposed thereon in alignment with one another and a cable management system having a housing disposed on the carriage, the housing defining an interior, a number of cables extending from the base into the interior of the housing, a cable chain having a first end secured within the interior of the housing and a second end affixed to the C-arm, the cable chain defining a channel therein that receives the number of cables to direct the number of cables from the base to the C-arm. The cable management system operate to retain the number of cables in alignment with the C-arm in any orientation of the C-arm relative to the base.

  • Patent number: 11886777
Abstract: The disclosure notably relates to a method for designing a 3D modeled object that represents a mechanical part. The method includes obtaining, at a CAD system, a B-Rep skin which represents the mechanical part. The B-rep skin has a B-rep portion which includes a boundary face. The method also includes defining, by graphical user-interaction with the CAD system, a surface, and constructing, automatically by the CAD system, a B-rep replacement. The method further includes replacing, in the B-Rep skin, the B-rep portion by the B-rep replacement. This offers a “replace face” functionality when designing a B-Rep skin.

  • Publication number: 20230177229
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for partitioning a computer-aided design 3D model of a mechanical part. The method including obtaining a volumetric B-Rep of the CAD 3D model, detecting one or more ribbons of the volumetric B-Rep, ranking the one or more detected ribbons based on one or more geometrical criteria that are associated with each of the one or more detected ribbons, and selecting successively following the ranking each of the ranked one or more detected ribbons. The method further comprises, for each selected ribbons partitioning the volumetric B-Rep of CAD 3D model using a splitting method associated with the geometrical criteria of the selected ribbon, thereby obtaining two or more partitions, and for each obtained partition, determining whether the partition represents a sweepable volume.
