  • Patent number: 8262312
Abstract: A system for locking, with respect to rotation and translation, the engagement of a first shaft with a second shaft, the first shaft being disposed in an axial bore in the second shaft. The system includes a locking device movable between a locking position and a release position, the first shaft having an end part which includes two walls inclined towards each other in a transverse direction, the axial bore having two corresponding walls opposite the inclined walls of the first shaft wherein changing the locking position of the locking device causes a transverse movement of the end part which puts the inclined walls of the first shaft in abutment against the corresponding walls of the axial bore.

  • Publication number: 20090148230
Abstract: The invention concerns a system for locking, with respect to rotation and translation, the engagement of a first shaft (2) with a second shaft (3), said first shaft being disposed in an axial bore (4) in said second shaft, said system comprising a locking device (5) movable between a locking position and a release position, the first shaft (2) having an end part (21) comprising two walls (22) inclined towards each other in a transverse direction, the axial bore (4) comprising two corresponding walls (23) opposite these, the change to the locking position of the locking device (5) causing a transverse movement of the end part (21) so as to put the inclined walls (22) in abutment against the corresponding walls (23) of the axial bore (4).

  • Patent number: 5883225
Abstract: The present invention relates to polypeptides from clinical isolates of cytomegalovirus encoded by the gB coding region which include at least one amino acid variation which is a substitution, insertion or deletion wherein the polypeptides otherwise retain the character of cytomegalovirus. The amino acid variations include changes to neutralizing epitopes.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5567582
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for detecting DNA, or a fragment thereof, that includes at least one sequence variation in relation to the sequence of a genomic region of a CMV strain that corresponds to the gB gene, with the proviso that the variation is not that found in the Towne strain of CMV, and that a CMV genome having the sequence variation would be capable of reproduction in a host system which supports reproduction of wild type CMV. The invention further relates to primers suitable for use in such a process.
