  • Publication number: 20140129298
Abstract: Method and system for generating summary scores from heterogeneous measures retrieved from multi-dimensional data structures for monitoring organizational performance. Scorecards are created for each group of tree-structured measures branching from Parent nodes to child nodes based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Scores for each parent node may be obtained by rolling up scores for child nodes reporting to the parent node. KPI's at the lowest level are mapped on first scale, then mapped to a normalized scale, and score values determined. KPI scores are weight-averaged for roll-up to a parent node determining the score for that node. Multiple parent nodes may be rolled-up to a higher level node in a similar way. Multiple dimensions of the measure such as geographic and temporal may be scored simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 7649896
Abstract: The present invention provides a system using label switching techniques to support QoS for mobile ad-hoc networks and its label distributing and switching method. The system includes plural clusters, each having plural mobile nodes. At least one mobile node in a cluster is selected as a routing agent. One routing agent in a cluster is selected as a core routing agent. Each core routing agent is capable of obtaining an unique seed for generating an label L=f(S, i, j)=S×3i×2j to a new LSP, where S is an unique seed that is an unique prime number, except 2 and 3, obtained by the core routing agent, i represents one of different kinds of LSP, and j represents one of different numbers for the same kind of LSP. Through the interconnecting of core routing agents, the virtual backbones can be constructed for bandwidth sharing.

  • Patent number: 7440978
Abstract: A client may revise a balanced scorecard by adding, deleting and/or moving objects on a strategy map. Multiple clients may attempt to revise the strategy map simultaneously. Non-conflicting revisions are synchronized with the strategy map in a scorecard database. A conflicting revision may be generated when objects associated with one client's revisions cannot be reconciled with the objects associated with another client's revisions. Conflicting revisions may be resolved by giving one client's revisions priority over subsequent client revisions. Any identified zombie objects are removed from the strategy map before synchronization with the scorecard database. The revised strategy map is saved in the scorecard database. The revised objects are synchronized with the corresponding scorecard and any associated strategy maps in the scorecard database.

  • Publication number: 20080230880
Abstract: The invention provides improved rivet and heat sink arrangements in leadframes and IC packages. The invention discloses a semiconductor device leadframe array with numerous leadframes having integrated circuit sites provided for receiving individual integrated circuit chips. Support strips are arranged adjacent to and supporting the integrated circuit sites in an array of one or more rows. Package areas provided each include one or integrated circuit site for ultimate encapsulation in an integrated circuit package. Rivet points are located on the support strips outside of the package areas. An array of heat sinks having corresponding rivet points is riveted to the leadframe array to complete the assembly. Alternative embodiments of the invention provide apparatus and methods for the assembly of an integrated circuit package with a leadframe having an operably coupled integrated circuit chip.

  • Patent number: 7058413
Abstract: A multicast management mechanism for mobile networks. The mechanism proposes a multicast table approach to considerably reduce the number of short messages and multimedia messages sent to a service area, thereby reducing its paging cost. The multicast management mechanism for mobile networks includes the steps: establishing a VLR recorder table in a home location register (HLR), to record VLR addresses located by multicast users and the total number of multicast users in each VLR; and establishing LA tables, to record LA addresses in each VLR and the total number of multicast users in each LA.

  • Patent number: 6954647
Abstract: This invention proposes a mobility management method and system for wireless data networks, such as GPRS and UMTS systems. The wireless data network consists of at least one mobile device and one network apparatus. The cells in a wireless data network are partitioned into several routing areas. In the wireless data network, the mobility management activities for a mobile device are characterized by a mobility management finite state machine exercised in both the mobile device and network apparatus. There are three states in the machine: idle state, standby state and ready state. Both the mobile device and network apparatus employ a ready counter, which counts the number of cells crossed by the mobile device in the packet idle period between two packet transmissions. If the counted number reaches a threshold, the mobility management state switches from the ready state to standby state.
