  • Patent number: 11947118
Abstract: The contact lens (100) for augmented reality comprises: a transparent body (102) designed to be placed on an eye (104); and at least one augmented reality module comprising an optical source (114) attached to the transparent body (102) and designed to emit a light into the transparent body, and an optical element (116) attached to the transparent body (102) and designed to receive the light from the optical source (114) and send it in the direction of the eye (104). The optical element (116) is a hologram designed to diffract the received light as a holographic image in the direction of the eye (104).

    Assignee: INSTITUT MINES TELECOM
Inventors: Jean-Louis De Bougrenet De La Tocnaye, Vincent Nourrit, Kevin Heggarty
  • Patent number: 11754834
Abstract: An optical system for detecting and tracking the eye movements of an individual. The system includes a frame, intended to be worn on the face of the individual, that includes a plurality of illumination sources. The system includes at least one contact lens, intended to be worn by an eye of the individual facing the frame, in which are encapsulated: an autonomous integrated circuit, a plurality of photoreceptors and a wireless communication transmitter. Variation in a signal (e.g., voltage or current) delivered by the photoreceptors allows not only the closure of the eyelid but also eye movements to be detected.

  • Publication number: 20220197030
Abstract: A contact lens, intended to be worn on the eye of a person, for automatically aiming in the direction of the eye. The contact lens includes:—a membrane suitable for covering the pupil and the iris of the eye;—at least two light sources encapsulated in the membrane, each suitable for emitting a light beam whose divergence is controlled in relation to the axis of the lens;—at least one interface for collecting and supplying electrical energy to the light sources, from outside the lens;—at least one electronic circuit suitable for activating the sources from the interface.

  • Publication number: 20220105742
Abstract: The present invention particularly relates to an assembly (E) consisting of: a two-dimensional network of micro-optical devices such as microlenses; and a network of micro-images consisting, at most, of as many micro-images (ML) as micro-optical devices, each micro-image being subdivided into N image elements arranged in such a way as to reconstitute, for an observer and through the two-dimensional network of micro-optical devices, N images visble from N different points of view, i.e.
